@Matthew_Kuna you are right Fonteccio is very underrated. As a Mavericks fan I would have loved for them to trade with the Kings to get Fonteccio instead of Washington & Gafford. I would have traded THJ, Green, Hardy and Powell for him and maybe Alex Len. That would have addressed the weakness at the 3 position. The Magic should be looking to sign him & offer him a lot of money because they need shooting & his defense to bolster their starting lineup.

However Thideau doesn't want his centers shooting 3's. Plus his ability to shoot off balance shots. I think if Hartenstein would work on shooting mid-range jump shots, shooting 3's, his free throw shooting & finally work on shooting off balance shots he would be just as dangerous as Embid.

Danny Ainge seems intent on fielding a lousy team in Utah as he keeps trading guys for NOTHING when they start to play well for the Jazz. The assets they got for Rudy and Donovan were great but since then very hard to make sense of any of his trades -- other than to save money for the owner as when they tossed Conley and Vanderbilt for ZERO back.
They aren't really tanking to compete for #1 picks with the Pistons, Spurs and Hornets -- but they don't seem like they want to make the playoffs either.
Markkanen and Clarkson are constantly hurt, and it seems foolish to think you're going to build a winning team around those 2.
Surprised they haven't dumped Clarkson for picks yet to be honest. 😂

@@liferealgood Isaiah is probably actually worth about $20m, but I don't see OKC or SA being interested, so the Knicks are probably safe if they offer the $16.3m. He'd be better off signing with the Knicks for only 3 years with the final year being a player option though. That way he can opt out when he's still 28 for at least one more big contract if he keeps playing this well. Worst case that's still $53m if he gets hurt and plays it out. My biggest question is does that mean Knicks don't resign Bojan, otherwise they are looking at a huge luxury tax bill resigning OG, Isaiah, and Precious, like around the $50-70m range in tax.
