I felt the same at first but in the moment , the adrenaline and feeling took over, they put in more than we know for this moment and it was about the win, not about hurting Justin, they’re fighters , I’m sure Justin would’ve done a back flip if he did that and both Max and Justin understand 100%

After being a fight fan for nearly 20 years, I wouldn't say that the Max vs Justin BMF fight was fight of the year - I think it was fight of the decade! Those guys made me a fan all over again.
I don't know, it was pretty one side is my only thing. Justin pretty much only had the leg kicks. It was a good fight but really the nose break in the first and the KO in the last second were the only notable moments. I think the Leon Edwards head kick is probably a bigger moment, or even the Adesanya KO vs Alex... Idk about fight of the decade but cool for Max, for sure.

To me the BMF fight played out exactly like the scene in Troy to me when the boy tells Achilles that the Thessolonian he saw is the biggest man he has have ever seen, he wouldn't want to fight him. Don't know why people even underestimated Max considering his granite chin, footwork, volume, boxing and jiu jitsu. And the somewhat irony in Max doing to Gaethje who is turning 36 this year what Gaethje did to a 36 year old Tony in 2020...

@@allybaapp1053 Max vs Gaethje was mostly one sided. There were several other fights where someone lost a round and won later on like Miller vs Green, Cody vs Feigeroudo, Turner vs Moicano and Oliveira vs Arman.

The other ones you mention were pretty one sided too though and this was higher stakes and more rounds.

U can see how GIDDY dana was when he came out and sat down....the man is the only one that can ever run the show.....honestly dana white is bigger than most fighters.....i loved this whole event, and in my area i seen like 4 parties with houses stuffed for this event.....THANK YOU!

I honestly feel like Gaethje headkicking Dustin was a bigger holy shit moment. Max broke Gaethje's nose early on and he never really recovered and was basically out on his feet when they started brawling at the end of the fight.
Before this fight was even announced, this was always a fucking fight you make in your hopes and dreams, then they go out on 300, fucking 300 and the fight goes exactly how it goes in your hopes and dreams, calling a dogfight in the middle and may best man win… and the other fights too dude, Cody piecing up fig for a moment, millers face completely red and bloodied standing on business, zhang choking out yan in the first round then almost loses then dominates again, fucking Alex’s fight dude 😂 most coldest shit seen yet, jiris fight dude, both trading and jiris leg on a timer, jumps in on his drunken fighter style throwing and catches rakic. Fucking insane card

Both real ones. Justin didn't have to take this fight and had nothing to gain really. Max knew this and gave Justin 10 seconds to get lucky at the end. Just happened to work out the other way around. Both are savages. I didn't think i could respect either any more than i already did...but I was way wrong.

Max's moment was cinematic. Legendary fight game material. His KO transcends MMA. It goes down in history as some of the greatest moments in all of fighting. Max & Justin are the very definition of a BMF and a BMF fight. We witnessed true greatness at UFC 300
