This is even better because I knew someone commented on NIN's Worriment Waltz that it's the song to slip and crack your head on the bathroom sink to.
NIN got me through my abusive teen years. Got me through my Father's death, Father in Law's suicide, partial paralysis and so much more. It's home to me.
My mom threw away my NIN cassette tapes, when I was a kid... This mix is my infant son's goodnight mix.

I love to listen to music for every single moment if I can. If I’m sad, music. If I’m happy, music. If I’m angry, music. But when I have times I need to reflect on a life changing situation/ decision, or when I’m going through a situation when I know it’s serious, I listen to the ambient masterpieces created by Trent Reznor. His instrumentals always fit perfectly when I seriously need to reflect on my life. And for that I will forever be grateful for Trent Reznor. He is a big part of my life, ever since I was a teenager 🖤

Trent Reznors music is pretty powerful if you know how to use it to your advantage while you're listening to it. I've listened to his music for three decades and it has been a stepping stone and I used it as a solid foundation to build who I am and how his music represents me in my walks through life.
If the world DOES end, this is gonna be my friggin' soundtrack right here.

I used to have a NIN calm playlist that I listened to every day during long hours of studying in school. It was then taken down on UA-cam due to copyright a couple years ago. I mourned the loss of that for some time. This is the closest I have gotten to that playlist, and I am really savoring it. The graphics make it even better; those are so awesome. Thank you.

I think you should write down every name of every song and make sure you know that
so you can construct it yourself out of physical media
and keep it for yourself, on something you can play back, when the internet dies
because that's the time when you'll need it the most

@@donhaugen1693 it’s actually really easy. First you just separate the elements in photoshop on to separate layers. Next bring that document in to after effects as a composition and turn on 3D layers. Move the elements back on the Z axis and finally add an artificial light and camera movement. The other bits of glitch are just overlays. Hope this helps ☺️

I have a special place in my heart for 28 ghosts.. that song has gotten me through serious heartbreak and tragedy. Now, it is my go to comfort song. No matter what I’m going through, that song gets me through my tears.. I will always hold it within my heart ♥️

A nice and great way, style of original life
Nine inch nails are the blanket for your wounds, they wrap your soul warming you, again telling you yes you do feel, yes this is real, yes I am here too, I will always be here when you need me, just press play.
This is one of the only ways I can listen to NIN at work (I work closings alone at a gas station) and not risk offending customers. Thankyou very much for making the best cigarette counting soundtrack! Lol
When we inevitably die out I hope this music gets sent outwards into the universe so that someone will hopefully hear it. A fitting legacy of our flawed and doomed but beautiful civilization.

The Quake remaster got me into Trents work.
for me its the black ops 2 soundtrack, with it i found out he made quake soundtrack, unknowingly, later on i've met john romero and asked him about quake soundtrack and he said to me how he's still sort of friends with trent and how trent essentialy made quake soundtrack as sort of tribute to ID software and whole soundtrack was an passion project and tribute on behalf of trent who's apperantley a doom and quake fan.
I look at myself and realize how much of myself had to be cut out of my life. Introductions to a better start can be beautifully painful.

That song is one of the most beautiful pieces of music. When I was a young teen it was like my depression song. I couldn't listen to it for many years without out it bringing me to a really bad mental space.
I got over that and see it in a whole new light now. Words can't describe the feelings it invokes
@@justinhunt1714 I can absolutely relate. Trent has so many songs that hit so hard especially going through things when I was a teen too. They have been my favorite band since 89 and throughout all these years they can change in meaning as we get older. I still can't listen to The Fragile, (but that's my own hang up for wanting for those words to be told to me.) It makes me happy that you can listen to that song now.
The transition into 'Together' at 5.32 is amazing. The melodic drones and sinister tones are what make NIN the screensaver of my life...when I'm not doing anything, I have their music looping in my mind
There has never been anyone in this world who has managed to reach the deepest parts of my being without saying a word like Trent Reznor has. Forever grateful.
It's so relatable, identifiable and seems to be personalized to the point that you think the song was written just for you!! And here is what makes Trent such a talented musician- there's no quantifiable way of discerning why or how it relates in the absence of lyrics, its all done with emotional context, conceived by the listeners themselves. And if you read the comments of the majority of Trent's fans they state that he has soundtracked our most poignant and the happiest times in our lives. All for the same reason. We identify.

I'm a Iraq war veteran. Trents music went so beautifully with the distorted environment of war. It carried me thru most of my days away. I will always go to his art for becoming the soundtrack to my hardest days. His music after war takes me right back to it. Such a special musician. One of the most creative in the game. I was drawn to NIN by their sound. They helped get through depression during my teen years. There is something about the sound of sadness. It brings joy in dark times but can also be very inspiring. I assume this would have HR Giger's daily soundtrack.

I know how you feel, just a couple of days ago I lost my beloved Iron Man coffee mug at work. Pretty sure someone stole it. This music helps me a lot right now. Sometimes only art can heal those deep wounds.
