It's so relatable, identifiable and seems to be personalized to the point that you think the song was written just for you!! And here is what makes Trent such a talented musician- there's no quantifiable way of discerning why or how it relates in the absence of lyrics, its all done with emotional context, conceived by the listeners themselves. And if you read the comments of the majority of Trent's fans they state that he has soundtracked our most poignant and the happiest times in our lives. All for the same reason. We identify.

Including bootlickers...He literally had a whole ARG against shit like this in the early 2000's...
@@thc_freebaser thanks for saying this, fuck fascists this music is not for them
This makes me want to cry
I was blown away by your abilities, RJ_Blu, to line up so much disparate NIN/Reznor content suitable to mix, then the adeptness with which you did so. I think you’re doing more than “mixing”; and it’s far harder than many people assume. Kudos, and than you.
I’ve been using this video every single night for this past year to help me sleep. Just wanted to say thank you for putting it together.
Уснуть????
I listen to this early in the morning while I drink my coffee and drive to work early in the morning 🌄 !! Brings me calmness and relaxation before the hectic day.
I just did the next comment like boosting my credit score listening to soothing music while smoking the finest dime because I have had some of the finest dimes in my lifetime nothing to worry about, on how this era of music is being with the best listeners on know how to make the season have some dj, really find the bond in the roots of mixing some of the best bands in the world together.
I can't listen to this mix if I have to be anywhere because I ruin my face from all the crying. There's just so much beauty I can hardly stand it!
I'm really needing this now with a major loss in my life. I want to thank you with all my heart for putting this together, (You can never go wrong with Trent and Atticus). I've had it saved, but I stopped listening to music all together for a while, which isn't me, but this is a start to bring me back in, which only Trent can do since 89. You did a phenomenal job. Much love and thank you again 🖤
I know how you feel, just a couple of days ago I lost my beloved Iron Man coffee mug at work. Pretty sure someone stole it. This music helps me a lot right now. Sometimes only art can heal those deep wounds.
@@VAVORiAL glad you know what loss is like, and have compassion
Sorry for your loss Kristan. I had a major loss about 7 months ago and this really helps me too. Don't listen to the D.B. that commented about the Iron Man mug.... they will have their pain too at some point. It only gets better as time goes on. Keep your chin up!
@@davidpslpsl3938
I'm disturbed by your lack of empathy towards me; I loved my Iron Man mug. I miss it daily. Let's not fight though, it's okay.
@@kristandagley7089 I'm glad that I was able to bring some positivity to your day and thank you also! Have you ever seen the Disney movie Soul? Trent did the soundtrack and it was spectacular. My daughter loves it. So nice to pass this musical genius onto another generation. 😊
I write in my Grimoire to this....thank you Trent.
Your interpretation of this just really helped me get through some rough moments of loss. Thank you Brotha!
I'm so sorry for your loss. I just wrote kind of the same thing and saw your comment. My heart wishes you well and hope you're doing better 🖤
@@kristandagley7089 Thank you. Sending love your direction. Hope that this finds you well. This too shall pass :)
@@mikeburgess6606 That is beyond sweet of you to say. Thank you so much. I hope you are doing better, and that each day gets a little easier for you. Sending my love your way as well. We've got this, I promise
I saw Trent Reznor and immediately clicked on this - and then with NIN??? Omg
Lovin it. Writing my 3rd screenplay currently and it is very cerebral and personal. This has been a great mood setter.
Loving this playlist. Absolutely perfect.. Clearly made by a truly NIN/Trent fan.
I play this every time I am at work at the end of the day while I am doing my paperwork, Helps maintain my sanity.
This came at the right moment! Trent Reznor is the best for the slow instrumental chords with the beautiful ambience
now this... is a warm place
this truly truly means the world to me. NIN has been my go too for the past 6 months, as i’ve been struggling with mental health specifically sh. this musics speaks to me almost how i was feeling internally. every time i play nine inch nails i feel as tho my body feels safe and calm, especially with this side. without it i never would’ve thought id be able to speak out and get help. i fall asleep to this almost every night, and wake myself up with songs such as starfuckers. honestly from the bottom of my heart thank you for posting this 🤍

Thanks for this! Great to listen to while I work and my co workers love it too!
Glad you like it ☺️
i love the haunting vibe i get listening to his music very ambient
I’ve actually never heard ‘and when the sky was opened’ before. That piece really speaks to me.
I don't know if I'm the only one on here to ever say this but his music has literally save my life in so many times in my life that were hard to get through I always had nin inch nails I. I'll write down on a lil piece of paper and hide it away hoping one day you might just find and read what it has to say
So glad I found this. I love this side of NIN. I love everything by them. 👍🙏
I was drawn to NIN by their sound. They helped get through depression during my teen years. There is something about the sound of sadness. It brings joy in dark times but can also be very inspiring. I assume this would have HR Giger's daily soundtrack.
Increible lista de reproduccion muchas gracias. Espero no lo borren. Saludos
Дуже гарно праця зроблена, дякую.
Besides you in time... The great below... The day the world went away... All the love in the world... We're in this together...
And now this!
I was so dumb to snob NIN all those years, just caus it was tendace when I was young!
It's a pure pleasure to discover all of this.
I cannot tell you all how happy I am to have found this
Love the dark yet inspiring melodic journey through euphoria. Just beautiful but everything you do is beautiful.
love Ghosts 28 !
hadn't yet heard what appears to be "Complication with optimistic outcome," but intriguing! esp the part that almost seems like a new track starting about 56:15
The beauty of the audio genius at work matched with the imagery you have compiled is going to haunt me for a while. Thank you 1,000 times for sharing your creative talent with this artist I'm so familiar with yet blown away by despite being a fan for three decades (age 19-50 and more to come!)
This last track reminds me of a smile I once knew ❤
This has been my go-to track for the last year or so. It is literally playing all the time. Thank you so much 🙏
Dude this was an incredible compilation. Very well selected and put together.

This is just brilliant and quite possibly the greatest compilation ever created. If it were on vinyl or CD I'd buy it just to have forever. Thank you❤
hand covers bruise always puts me to sleep. it's beautifully dark in a way. and i fall asleep almost instantly listening to it in the dark looking at my ceiling.
Um where has this been all my life...BIG thank you!
Woo! I’m running with the bath idea! I know I won’t have any regret to anything Trent writes! Thanks for the relaxing idea!🥰
So what you're saying is, you'll be running a bath. 😏👉🏻👉🏻
Pickup a good book and let Trent provide the Soundtrack for the Movie in your head.
Vielen Dank für den Instrumental-Mix. Ich hatte keine Ahnung, das NIN auch diese Art von Musik gemacht haben.
Обалденный микс, спасибо! 😉👍
I'm still trying to save the world, thanks for this mix. if four years of people disappearing or not seeing them is infinity war, take your time remembering all of them. they'll be back soon... just better people for being forgotten by loved ones who were frustrated. hope will be what's left for those who believe in ones faith in the other to be human. so be other. I'm about if needed. and you will be too.... I hope
YES!YES!! I THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THIS TO LISTEN TO.
Incredibly atmospheric sound and stunning visuals
Absolutely brilliant! 🙏🏽💙
Beautiful
This might be the most soothing 2 hour mix in the universe. Thank You guys. It is assisting me, big time.
You are very welcome ❤️
Brilliant work here my friend...

Best Playlist I've come across for NIN thanks man
Beautiful. Thank you for putting this compilation together. 💕
