Hi Rachel, I’m in Canada and I just came across your channel and I love it. It was fun watching your episode about the stitch festival. I wanted to give you an idea for the Cleo dungaree pattern from Tilly and the Buttons. I love sewing with tablecloths. I always find wonderful cotton tablecloths at Home Sense - I think you have that store. The benefits of sewing with tablecloths is they come in all shapes and sizes, square, round, oval and rectangular. They are generally a heavier cotton in pretty florals or plaids and I think you could make a pretty Cleo dungaree for summer that you could wear over a T-shirt. Just a thought!
Hi Katie! So lovely to have you here. And thank you for your lovely advice! I have been on the search for cute thrifted table cloths for sewing but hadn’t thought of using one for the Cleo. That’s a great idea! Will keep an eye out 😘❤️
Great vlog! I did not know you had a youtube channel so very nice surprise :) I think I picked the exact same yellow gingham fabric from Rainbow fabrics for my birthday haul on my channel ! :) I agree completely it is such a nice fabric, I intend to make a shirred dress with it. Looking forward to see what you make with it!
You looked fabulous in your beautiful dresses on the catwalk, it must have been quite nerve wracking! I'm looking forward to seeing what you make from the beautiful linen fabrics, I love the sage green colour Xx
Oh wow both dresses look amazing. Love that you have used the same pattern and both look so different Also the fact you went with a plan so you are not just randomly buying with possibility of not making them up is great, which is what I am getting back to x x Debbie x
You were very brave to get up on stage and walk the cat walk. Your dresses looked beautiful on you. You made some lovely considered purchases. With shows like the Stitch Festival packed out it's a shame there aren't more bricks and mortar shops as I agree with you, it's much nicer to see the fabrics in person. I thought the sound and film quality very good, please could I ask what camera you were using. I look forward to seeing what you make for Spring/Summer. X
Thank you lovely ❤️ I agree! Would love more bricks and mortar shops but the shoes are great for stocking up on supplies. I was using my iPhone 15 pro for most of it ☺️
Hi Rachel, I've just started following your vlogs and I like you choices. I am also interested in trying the vintage linen dress style for next summer. I just bought the juliette dress pattern by silversaga and I'll toile it next week. It really looks like the dress you envisaged. Check it!

Thank you Debbie! It is so overwhelming at shows like this, it’s really great to have a plan when you go! ❤️ xx
You looked like you were having lots of fun on the catwalk! Those linens are lovely.
I was! Everyone was cheering and being so lovely ❤️

I love that pattern! But just don’t have the fabric for it sadly, it uses sooo much! Maybe next time 🤞
I bought a 100% ikea cotton bedsheet to test it! I'm 1.58 cm tall (or should I say short😂) so I'm confident I'll use less fabric. I'll let you know
