Small tip, but do the same thing, except put the peak controller on a kick sub bus, and put it on mute. (The fruity peak controller slightly changes the waveform of your kick, not in a pleasant way)
I'm using Raeper and this was the best result tip about kick + 808 bass... I've been spending a lot of time waching tons of videos about it but this results here, wow, really outstanding...

anyone know why the 808 goes back to normal seconds after the kicks, im having this problem where the 808 volume freg stays low eve after the kick has already passed, its not in sync ;((

Hey man can you make a tutorial on how to mix 808 and synth bass together. I know people said you shouldn't do that but SupaMarioh somehow made it work on Drake's *Blue Tint* song. He was saying something about reversing polarity lol
There is nothing that 'you shouldn't do' during the production state. You can absolutely do that and any other thing you want. This is how you learn and discover new things. Never limit yourself brother.
