Stuck in the rain, surrounded 😝 & outnumbered 🤪

So many things happened in a single afternoon when the rain began to fall, all of a sudden, though not entirely unexpectedly. A collision course for so at least 3 troops, and no one is a winner. Half a century of habituation, there is just no easy fix for it. But so many interesting observations, including a tug-of-war, a division of labour at work and of course, the antics of babies, yearlings and even some young adults !

I get the feeling that Pepper would rip Bo a new one if she ever did try to snatch one of her babies...and Bo knows it.

I'm going to hazard a guess that between pepper, her daughters and sons, the baby will have a wall of protection from Bo. That and Pepper looks like the kind of mom who'd fight back with Bo willingly. For Floffi and Fozzi it isn't as easy, since someone who helped raised them from infancy clearly had a lot of influence over them.

I wish I could. It's painful to see Floffi so on edge. She was chewing on some leaves and dropped them when another monkey approached, and then flew up a tree (where I imagine Bo is less likely to sneak up on her). She is not getting any rest!
