I purchased gel liner today for the first time. I did use the same Bare Minerals brush you did. In fact, I own all you've shown. The gel liner works better than any other liner I've ever tried. The brush worked fabulously.

It seems so basic but this is the one thing I have not mastered. I think I can do it now =) This was the best winged liner tutorial I have seen. Really pretty soft/feminine look.

Nicely done liner. But ur eyebrows are distracting...the arch is too high, u look surprised

It looks good. I always ear this look with Revlon Colorstay eyeliner.
Thank you for explaining the shape of the wing in your tutorial! Many of the tutorials I've seen skip it altogether and I really didn't know how to approach it. A lot of the products I use are BE - so I also appreciated the brush review. I do have that tiny tipped liner brush and it actually works just fine with powder. One of the great things about this brand is that you can use almost any of the eyeshadows wet or dry and as liner, lid or crease colors so that brush comes in really handy if you use any of the loose eye colors as liner. Since discovering UD 24/7 liner pencils, I use them the majority of the time now though and I am wondering - is it impossible to get a good winged liner with a pencil?

Thanks Ariel, I just tried doing the cat eye for 1st time but I used a flat chisel brush as I didn't have an angled one.. It came out ok,but it was difficult as I have deep set hooded eyes like yours.. I'm so excited to try this way instead! Yay! So glad you showed me this :-)

i started using gel liner and a brush just today and it really turned out great! the result was exactly the same in both eyes and it took me less time to do it than with liquid eyeliner. i was always using liquid liner because i thought each easier since you only use one item.. god i was wrong !! :D
