The standard method of preparing a new mill (stone, steel, hammer etc.) is to run a kg or two of white rice through it. Do not wet wash the mill, ever... The rice removes the oils from metal, and polishes the stones, by removing any residual sandy grits.

You guys can start milling artisan fresh grains for local bakeries. Or build a wood fired oven and bake your own bread. Bread and Brews 🍻 🍞 maybe 🍕 too. The possibilities are endless.
Your videos are always fun though

@@GenusBrewing definitely don't get mine that fine but i am doing a fairly floury crush for my biab. I have gotten low 80s efficiency but have been slowly increasing crush size to see if i get less protein/ gunk in the wort and still getting high 70s currently

Sounds super loud and wondering if a certain size funnel would fit tight. In that smallhole. That way you don't have to use ur hands and Seems dangerous putting ur hands close to the blade wondering if filled up hopper if it would self feed itself. Also possibly make hopper tripple the size with sheet metal and ribbets. Also what type of warrenty do they offer?

Guys, just pour the goddamn grain in the hopper and turn it on. There's no timing to it. It needs to be designed to be funneled. This product is made in Italy. I'm looking for one made in the USA. It looks like the grinder was difficult to take off the barrel? I don't have time for that. Efficiency,

I was actually wondering Today how there isn't anything to crush automatically and now I see this but it looks a little shit to be honest. That's definitely an area that needs improvement on Homebrew equipment: an automated miller.
