Mike Im glad LA and CA didnt take a bad hit from a real strong hurricane. So many people dont take anything seriously until its too late. Im glad this time was ok count the blessings. God Bless.
SoCal never does. It has to do not with the warmth of the water but the geology of the ocean along SoCal and Baja. Once it hits a certain point the water is not deep enough to maintain the hurricane status. It's a similar effect as to the reasoning as to why we don't have tsunamis here or huge waves like like our northwestern neighbors.

Be SAFE and stay safe!!! Always good to surely be prepared.
I grew up 20 yrs in Lakewood, CA and remembered only earthquakes that occurred and now a change of mother nature.
God bless and may you all recover.
❤GIV you are looking great. keep doing what your doing because it's working for you my German friend.
Awesome, thanks bud! way better coverage then local/national News 👍
Everybody was panicking...OHHH!! big tropical storm coming through So Cal, I live in Oxnard CA. and when the rain hit us, it was just like a normal rain fall, no strong winds,
a lot of rain, no flooding, sometimes media hypes up stuff to make people panic and go spend lots of money on water, etc. then nothing devastating happens,
we've had constant rain before and it was worse than this was. The earthquake was 18 miles from where I live and it did no damage,
but the media made a big deal out of it.
Never let the slight chance of a crisis go to waste eh. I live in Australia's cyclonic zone. If they go near any kind of elevated ground. In this case the ranges in Baja, the system is done.
Thank you for the video. Never want to see this city like this.
That sunset before the storm was EPIC! Danke Mike!
Very nice coverage Mike! My wife is just on her way to LA in her job as flight attendant for Lufthansa. After watching this video I don‘t have to be concerned. 😅 One of the few days when we in Germany have better weather than L.A. - not for long 😩
Loved the filming and photography in this video you captured it all perfectly thank you!
Greetings from Australia.......glad you are safe and well in LA......but the picture of all the poor homeless is heartbreaking......shame that more cannot be done for them.
It's still so sad to see so many lost souls unable to find addiction help and suitable housing. Great video as always!
Harbor freight Tarpss are sustainable
they do not want help. they want everything the state gives without the responsibilities that are incumbent on a citizen.
do they want, addiction help?
no they want to get high on the goverments dime.@@AnthonyBara-l5c
Addiction help, assistance programs to get people independent are readily available.
My daughter works a homeless shelter.
You cannot force help onto people that do not want to be helped.
Congrats on the million views!! I watch all videos and give thumbs up!
Love your videos. Just shocked how many homeless people there are and the amount of refuse on the streets. Take care out there. I love Germany and Bavaria no matter how much it rains as the scenery is spectacular
YOU HAVE THE COOLEST VIDEOS! And you make them fun too!
Thank you for reporting the real storm footage your the best 🙏⭐🌞
Glad you both are ok during this, keep showing them on location videos!!! You Rock GIV!!!!😊
Pray for the people in Maui ...something real bad is going on there . PK
🎉🎉 congratulations for 1M view's
That painting of a woman surrounded by swans (@ 20:42) is beautiful.
To know what's latest in LA & Venice, always depend on GIV.
I lived in Louisiana during Katrina. Hurricanes can be devastating.
California received a earthquake 5.0 , the same day as Hilary Hurricane .
all that rain to wash the poo, pe and fentanyl into the drinking water..lol

youre being eliminated, terminated, better learn quick who God and Satan are!! i did..
Depending on where you’re located and how prepared you were. I was in Thibodaux, Louisiana and there was no electricity for a month. New Orleans had electricity after a week. Been there done that.
@@richarda996 we were fortunate in Prarieville. It was devastating to witness the losses many endured. Other storms we had actually affected us worse. Like George. No power for 10 days.
@@richarda996 I moved to Boston in 2012. Back home after 16 years.
We live in Florida and are used to getting ready for Hurricane season….you don’t want to freak out but you should be prepared.
GiV! Thanks for your and your friend's great report about LA. My family live there so LA is always my attention.
Thank you for everything you do ❤️🙏😊
Los Angelenos always having to deal with so much. Thanks for reporting Mike! You're the best man for the job showing us the status of the town we left behind.
Couldn't wait for your reporting of what's happening in SoCal. You nailed it ❤
It’s such a shame what Californians have allowed to happen to that state.
Yes we Californians shouldn’t have allowed Mother Nature to do her job and try to wash away all the filth because the cities throughout California and governor are enjoying their raises they received in February 😂
homelessness can be stopped if started early. Is what I assume they meant @@RewskOnTV
Right especially with so many rich people that live there. Looks like the slums. Who in their right mind would spend millions of dollars to live there is beyond me.
Extra water you drink, extra food you will eat. Not a bad thing to prepare for yourself, family, and friends less fortunate,
God bless
Mike Im glad LA and CA didnt take a bad hit from a real strong hurricane. So many people dont take anything seriously until its too late. Im glad this time was ok count the blessings. God Bless.
Or any hurricane...because it wasn't a hurricane. At all.
SoCal never does. It has to do not with the warmth of the water but the geology of the ocean along SoCal and Baja. Once it hits a certain point the water is not deep enough to maintain the hurricane status. It's a similar effect as to the reasoning as to why we don't have tsunamis here or huge waves like like our northwestern neighbors.
don’t waste your time, nobody in LaLaLand is listening…
Boy, that is some nasty, nasty water flowing out of the LA River into the ocean!! Disgusting!!
Stay safe…..im Michael in Jacksonville.I first heard about your channel from Jordan The Lion.
Jacksonville Florida? I’m also from there.
I’ve been waiting for this!! It’s THE ONLY opinion on the storm that MATTERS! LOVE YA❤️❤️❤️🥳Danke Shon!
My German Grandmother was a nervous wreck, too! Whether warning me not to get too close to things, or pounding her pretend brake while sitting in the passenger seat of our car, she worried a lot!
Really like this channel.
♥ great video 👍 the homeless situation is heart wrenching 💔
The grafitti is amazing 😱
The guy hitting himself in the head with the stop sign made me 😢 😢 😢 cry.
I love your optimism... You are a special guy!! Sending you light and love. 🙏💜Stay safe 💕
I remember when I was a kid we’d drink rainwater and out of creeks and hoses and lots of other dirty things that didn’t kill us. They really built up this storm and made people super panicked. I grew up in LA and Im going to bet that all this panic was not needed. Yes prepare and be safe but come on people. LEARN TO DRIVE IN THE TRAIN ALSO.
If you were to drink that water today.... one would need to fish out the turds and needles first
Weak and scared sheep are the easiest to control. Look at all the dufusses still wearing masks. Those in power know this and use it to their max benefit. 83% of our country couldn't get jabbed fast enough. The only thing to fear is not accepting our Lord Jesus Christ.
It was bad for the deserts. The cities on the west side of the mountain didn’t get hit too haard
I watched this video twice it’s so good
Thanks Mike!! Both of you have fun and be safe. Better a storm is less than expected. Keep stocked on water and TP just in case. 😂 You never know, especially in LA. Love your videos! Nice time to hit restaurants you always want to but are usually too busy. Touring makes me hungry lol. I'm doing really well on my new diabetic diet, lost 30. Lbs. Since I went to hospital end of February. You're lo😢 well! Hope you're getting well too. I'm on 2 meals a day up to 75 grams of carbs per meal. Was on 3 meals a day but 2 is plenty. You have terrific attitude! I love rainy days, when I was in Venice and Marina, Colorado and now the desert outside of Vegas. We finally got rain until Hilary storm went by then Vegas got rain from the storm but in Henderson we got the rain shut off. Keep dry clothes in trunk 👍
Stay safe Mike and So. California....🙏🏾 🙏🏾 🙏🏾
OMG! Hopefully everyone stay safe no matter there situation.
Gee, it's refreshing to see someone in your position so positive and upbeat.....a true calming spirit! I like your attitude and outlook. Hello from Mississippi.
It's sad how easily people are frightened into panic over a hyped weather event.
At 80 years old I'm frightened by the idiots around me.
I love your videos!
So glad I came across your channel ,you are such a happy person ,you cheered me right up
That is the cleanest those streets have been in YEARS !
All that nasty garbage going into the ocean.
Hi Mike .Thanks for the great video. I am eagerly waiting for the rain here in Munich, Germany. It's been a hot summer here so far and I'm already looking forward to autumn.
I love you GIV, you are always so upbeat and happy, always a kind word for everything!!!
Sad to see the homeless out there. 💔🙏🏽
Watched this twice, once on my laptop and once on my TV when showing it to my mom and sis, being signed out on both occasions. Now that I'm signed in, take my like!
wow just look at our country and all those people stuck living this way
Yeah it’s sad. American dream…..
You can thank our government for this. They rather donate billions to Ukraine than to it's own people 😂🎉
This is what you get when you Vote ‘Democrats’ the Democrat Party is a Socialist-Communist Party! Homeless, high prices, crime, lawlessness, you vote Democrat; you deserve what you Get!!
Many like their situation the way it is. It's a lot by choice. You are just assuming they are stuck.
@@tsohgallik No. You can thank the american people for this. They are supposed to help each other not the government. The government is not here to help you.
You're the first person to report on the homeless. As if these people didn't have it bad enough. Rock on, brother 🤘
The new PC unhoused formerly homeless people unhoused
Yes, it stinks bad for the HOMELESS people. And that LA River. Ooomph. That's so bad going into the Ocean
Hopefully they clean up the zombies up
That is their CHOICE to have it "that bad"!!! Please don't be so naive!!
@@scotabot7826 A LOT of these people are mentally ill, bro... they're not all "lazy" or predatory homeless types. Get a little compassion by watching Pete's Promise channel, etc.
