@@customrider81 I'm surprised I never heard of this type of boat / jetski combo before. I did a bit of looking into it and they've been made here in Australia for years too.
Funny how some things just slip under my radar.
The best part is that you can hob nob with the best of them and discuss your yacht that has a built in garage for the tender. "Ah yes Jenkins, we took the old girl over to the island and then rode the tender to shore for a spot of lunch"
"Hey George .. is that ski securely latched and ready to tow?"
"Yup, sure is. Did it myself before the show. Pretty sure no one's touched it."
"Right, take her away boys. Just remember - NO SCRATCHES"
It’s really a great idea! Wish it had a retractable net. So when the JetSki‘s out you could be sitting on the net above the water. Like a catamaran essentially. Nothing fancy just lost of space when the ski is out.
Really innovative idea. So many boating options nowadays, thanks for showing us a great variety.

Cool. Very novel idea. Perfect for when you get tired and want to relax alittle. Only thing missing is a port a potte for when nature inexpectedly calls lol.
Also a cooler for the drinks. Than its complete.

The RIB Version would be a very good "Tender" ..maybe on a Sunreef 60 Eco-Sail CAT.
In Combination with a hidden stored electric mobile "Cruise-6" 2. propulsuion system from Torqeedo for Emergency situations would be also a nice Idea....

I always enjoy these new "toys" that you present from time to time. It makes this channel so much more fun and enjoyable than if it had only been yacht tours all the time.

Yamaha made one a few years back. They made a double jet ski model as well. I always thought it was a great idea.

Nick, this is similar to my thoughts of long ago, where I'd like to see one of the smaller yachts (with at least 2 double cabins) which could use a tender boat in a similar fashion.
I know it would require some design thought, but maybe whilst the tender is out, the rear of the remaining yacht would be like a catamaran and have two props to propel the boat say up to 10 knots.
This could be electrically powered by a generator/batteries.

Didn't someone make one of these back in the 90's, used to have a jetski back then and I swear I remember seeing something similar.
It was called an "M craft" it was for a stand up jet ski

They are probably cheaper tax wise too. I wonder if someone makes a pontoon version for lakes . Or one that has a head and bbq type area.

This reminded me of a concept from Feadship where there was a detachable beach house and also a pair of detachable 25 metre tenders which acted as the primary propulsion for the yacht - all very James Bond and highly unlikely to make it past the concept stage unlike these fun and relatively affordable jet ski speedboats. Looks like that's a Yamaha, so it's a waverunner instead of jetski, which would be by Kawasaki.
