Is JMC still down in Miami? On the sealver website I didn't see any US dealers on their site anymore. I really like the concept, but like you I couldn't get down there to look at them. I would love to bring one back to South Carolina.

I am only seeing 2 locations in Florida. M G Auto Center Inc, Lake Park, FL and Mount Dora Jet Ski Boats, Mount Dora, FL. Nowhere else in the US.

I own a 2020 Sealver Wave Boat 525 full wake version. Absolutley love it. Only downfall in the design is that the 525 doesn't have a path to walk from the jetski to the front. You have to climb over a seat to do so. The 2022 models are even worse in terms of getting over the seat as they changed the rails to be more "sporty" looking which reduced where to hold when climbing over. Not good when you are taking you in-laws out. I typically roll up to a sand bar, let the wife, son and her/his friends hang out, socialize with family and friends while I detach the seadoo and go have some fun. Best of both worlds. Its a much more comfortable riding experience then having my wife and son hang on to the back for several hours.
Highly recommend them. The 444 is too small and the 565 I feel is a good size but I didn't like the seating design. However it does have a walkway that leads from the back to the front. No climbing over seats. Happy to answer any questions anyone has based on my personal experience. Currently I have a 2019 GTI 130 pushing it where I can get about 32 miles/hr with the binini down. My new 2023 RXT-X will provide some more speed to it this year. I've watched pretty much every video on youtube about the wave boats. 😆
Now I know why I never found one from The Watercraft Journal...and I looked extensivly. 😆

How does it connect up? Is it a very rigid connection or does it bounce around at all and chew up your hull, deck, or rub rail?

How does it handle in rougher sea condition? Looking at 2-3 feet high wave.

@@pierreye3322 The bow sits pretty low to the water (525 version, the 656 sits much higher and has a deeper hull) which could result in taking in water if going too slow. Handling feels just like a jet boat. Feels great, very responsive. Also, don't try connecting in rough water. You'll never be able too. It's really ment for more calm waters.

@@flacjacket It's a tight fit. You're not moving at all within the rails. You have to order the appropriate rail system for the type of hull your watercraft has and they're not cheap. I have to replace my GTI rails for an ST3 Hull and it will cost over $3000. And the dealer won't allow me to trade in the old rails to help bring down the cost for the new rails. Because of the tight fit, there is some rubbing when trying to get it connected/disconnected. My Seadoo sticker on the lower half of the hull on one side has been damaged. Doesn't chew up or mark the hull though. It's all just plastic. When disconnecting the PWC from the rails, you gotta wiggle it a bit due to the tight fit, which is understandable. Also, when attaching the PWC to the Wave boat, make sure nobody is sitting on either side of the back area. This offsets the balance of the wave boat and won't allow the PWC to propperly line up with the rails. Either have everyone off the wave boat or sitting up front.

☝️🧐,,, Hold On,,, SMALL ENGINE pushing much more weight & resistance = much more wear and tear on engine and a shorter life span. You could possibly buy what you think is a great 2nd hand water craft only to find out it's worn out.

Consider that Yamaha's boats run the same powertrain as linking a FX SVHO or HO to one of these. No different.

@@watercraftjournal The recommended HP for the Wave Boats are between 130hp - 300+hp, so you won't see a Spark or Trixx pushing one of these. Like you say, these engines were designed to handle this weight and I'm sure over all the years Sealver has been making these wave boats (which are quite lite), they would have made any appropriate changes to the HP recommendations if there were any issues.
