Thank you! No worries, I am doing fine, but sometimes all these thoughts just come up suddenly, and I think it is a really good way to write it down, and make it into a video
@@Waryfuls I hope you're having the right help you need. It is also a good chance for you to understand yourself better and deeper, so welcome your feeings too brother.
im 19 and feeling lost and overwhelmed. im grateful this video came by today and i feel a bit better from feeling this way. thank you for making this video
I was the same until I came across a book that changed my life. It's called 'Quit Old Broke Life.' I found it on a site that has banned books. It's called Borlest.
I’m 26 and it has been nearly 2 years that I feel lost. I have many hobbies and many things to try out. I have watched this kind of trait in tedtalk and it’s called “multipotentialite “ . I do recommend you guys if you haven’t known or familiar about that term. After watching some of those clips talking abt multipotentialite, I realized I am not the only one who felt like this and there are same ppl who had the same feelings like me. I don’t wanna try to find out the only one thing that I want to do. I decided to embrace all of my hobbies and interests and never let it influenced by others judgement from saying not having one stable career or interest in life.
Thank you for your comment, this is the biggest encouragement! I feel exactly the same! People around me always say I am too greedy, and that I can never do good in everything, but I don't want to give up any one of my hobbies. I hope your comment can inspire more people to truly be themselves and not trusting those mean comments in real life. Our lives have so much potential and we need to do our best in every aspect! Thank you again, I will look up more about "multipotentialite"
I will be 21 this year and the "I know my goal but I still lost" hits me hard, also all the statements like being hard work and lazy its so related to me, I guess its a way to figure out something is not working the way we expect.
This reached me at the best time possible. I was too afraid to face my thoughts. 23 years finished still i feel like 7 or something. Everytime I choose the slightest hardest path and feel like failure because i couldn't ace it but i don't want to be a negative person so I'm telling myself im okay . Completed the studies two years and preparing for decent job ( unemployed for 2years) spending parents money. Technically no friends, all my old friends (still friends) are in different stages of life i couldn't relate to. Practically lonely most of the time but too hesitant to get close to people. Seeing people of your age having babies and society see you as some object that they can buy for their son, facing those gaze make you more sensitive to everything AND YOU ARE NOT THAT CONFIDENT STRONG YOUNG INDEPENDENT WOMAN AS YOU IMAGINED YET HOPING TO BECOME ONE SOON i wish everyone feeling this way find the inner peace the best way possible.❤🇮🇳
As you mentioned no drivers licence, want to learn two languages from scratch, living alone , sometimes with total strangers. Want to join dance class, gym probably it may never happen. I doodle sometimes just for fun not the way we see online like not pro at anything. One day feels like I'm the boss next a literal child that needs 24×7 pampering 🥴🎀
I graduated recently and I recommend you spending time with friends first and if you got more time then spend it with your parents, you will be superfine. and most importantly find any type of work small/big which will get you paid.
I always believe having a religious belief is the most precious thing one can have. Having something superior to trust and rely on. However, I am still on my way of find my own religious belief.I wish one day I will have a "god" in my mind I do not feel lost anymore🥰
Thank you so much for sharing your heart. I relate to SO much of this! I'm about to turn 24, don't have my driver's license, and want to travel more but am broke haha. And I am also trying to make peace with this overwhelming sense of lostness. I love what you said at the end about looking back 10 years later and seeing that what I was going through was simply an experience of youth (or maybe just life). My 34 year old self would probably just tell me to chill out and enjoy the ride :')
Thank you! Sometimes doing too much causes insecurity too, most of the things I do, I cannot see results in a short period of time. I doubt myself sometimes about whether insisting on the things I am doing will bring me anywhere in life
Fue reconfortante toparme con este video, también me siento perdido y más aun no tengo muchos logros, aun trato de encontrar motivación, agradezco tus pensamientos :)
This video resonated with me so much! I am 26, in uni, feel like I want to do so many things but there is so much time in a day. Doing my best to enjoy it but even in knowing some of my goals I can feel lost at the same time. Thank you for this video! It helped me know I am not alone in these feelings. :)
Thank you for this video. I'm turning 24 this year too and now everything is so... much. And I also want to do so many things, but my health isn't well. I hope we will be ok even if it's not easy sometimes ❤
Hi, Iris! I’m the same age as you and have also been feeling pretty lost lately. I was surprised by how much I could relate to everything you mentioned in the video. It’s comforting and uplifting to know that feeling lost is a universal experience among people our age and that we aren’t alone on this journey called life. Your video is beautiful! I hope you have a wonderful day. ☀️✨
I am very surprised to see there are so many of us feeling this way in the comment session, I love when the internet let us share about our thoughts and know we are not alone 🥺
Hi Iris Yuen, I really had goosebumps when I wrote many nearly exact sentences in my diary that were similar to yours in this vlog, and I am 24 as well. I think in our generation, we are experiencing challenges that the older might underrate, and the younger might hardly have. Yet, we have great self-awareness, positivity, and openness to our world, like you and me. I hope we will soon overcome what we call "my problem", and enjoy our YOUTH. This journey can be hard, but there are many soft moments as well. Let's enjoy it even if there are ups or downs!
Thank you for the comment! I agree with everything you said. We are the generation "in between", sometimes, it means no other generation can really understand us, but we have each other, and when we grow older, we still have to take responsibility and the run the world in our own way.
I'm 27 and I feel like my life is unfulfilling because I don't have a real long-term partner. Getting a physics PhD from one of the best universities, going to probably be rich, i'm going to reach my final physical form still but it's all alone... hmm..
I felt that way to with 24. I think everybody does. Although I didnt think about it as being lost but as having so many opportunities. In the years that followed I tried out a few things and cut out most of it - some things willingly and some fell away naturally. Now, a few years later, I have selected about three things that I want to focus on. Just give it time.
I feel you, sometimes responsibilities really are the biggest obstacles keeping us away from the live we want. But sadly we cannot do anything about it because we chose the responsibilities over freedom. As long as we know we are not going to regret, it is all worth it
Indeed, and most importantly, since everyone is lost, we should be true to ourselves and not take others' comment on our lives too seriously. They probably do not know what to do with their own lives too lol
I'm 25 and still lost. Already tried everything listed in the video, and although I've seen some improvement, that lost feeling hasn't disappeared. Instead, I'm now even questioning what is the point to all this? I have no friends, my language learning motivation has declined as a result. I've picked up and quit several hobbies I used to genuinely enjoy when I was younger, but now can't anymore. I wish to travel the world, but I'm still no millionaire either. Any hope of this feeling going away when I turn 26? or even 30?
That feeling will not go away if u r not into something ! Focus on 1 thing that makes u fulfill and give u monetary returns too. Btw I'm excited to see what will our world look like in 50s and 60s, but what if we or I didn't make it ? Future is full of unknown stuff depending on our decision, we or I may regret on our decisions but we can't do anything about it So just keep moving, try things that you want to do before leaving this world Coz if u don't, 1 regret will always remains that "I DIDN'T TRY !"
I hear from a friend, the way he deals with the lost feeling is to work and make money. I think he is not wrong. I'd rather be rich and lost than poor and lost
There are different way people deal with their struggles. I am trying new way of expressing myself here on UA-cam. And definitely not making fun of the hardship I am having.
That’s okay to feel a little lost here and there. But if that feeling comes too often then you should seek help from friends or even experts
Thank you! No worries, I am doing fine, but sometimes all these thoughts just come up suddenly, and I think it is a really good way to write it down, and make it into a video
Been doing so, mostly friends. It started happening to often every since January.
