- I spend time in India's busy city of the South, Bangaluru (Bangalore) and take a day trip to Mysuru (Mysore). I make stops at The Mysore Place, K R Market (Krishnarajendra Market) Cubbon park and lots of other stops along the way!
Nice video. The renaming of Bangalore and Mysore is actually not such a big deal to locals in the sense that if you were to refer to the cities by either name it's not like anyone will be even slightly offended by that. The new names are just how the city names have always been pronounced in the state language, Kannada. You could think of it as a pronunciation tweak.

The first sentence in the video requires editing..... MTR is not near Cubbon Park, it is near LALBAGH. The fun part, the metro train connects you to both lung spaces of Bengaluru.

RAther than switching you can mention it as original names of Indian cities (in local languages) are being restored. For example, Bengaluru is original Kannada (state language) version of Bangalore (the way British named it. Similarly, Mumbai is Marati (State language of Maharashtra) version of BOMBAY etc.
