- Dr. Stefan Rapprich pioneer in Lipedema Research explains which is the best exercise for lipedema. Water exercises when you are upright. The water pressure counters gravity and creates graduated compression, it creates a lymphatic massage, and it stimulates ANP Atrial Natriuretic Peptide release which increases lipolysis or fat burning.

What if you don't have access to a pool? What exercise can you do?

@@lipedemainfo thank you for replying. I've never been diagnosed, but I see similarities in my legs and abdomen. Is there something I should ask my doctor to check, so I can be diagnosed?

@@monieluv721 You can get a prescription to go aquatic therapy and insurance will cover it! If you live in California there are a lot of options. If you're looking to be diagnosed you can get a vein specialist, cardiologist, I would say primary care, but many of them are still calling it and you fat.
