He stresses he wants people to relate to the android by means of it looking like a human person. All they need now is general intelligence and they have it made.

Sin duda da grandes enseñanzas de inteligencia emocional y de lo que el humano puede llegar a desarrollar, pero actualmente tenemos un desequilibrio enorme mundialmente no solo sanitario, ambiental, económico y muchos más. Entonces ellos que tienen los medios para lograr semejantes magnificiencias porque no las usan para igualar nuestra realidad.

    I like that David deciphering a developing consciousness independent intelligence more like human, so that an AI like Sophia someday has a mind like human intelligence that has feelings. David you have to build a skin that Sophia will feel. A skin that when Sophia is touch any part of the body, she can feel it and realizes it what does it mean but we have to express ourselves and let her know so it develop/recognize that sense of development altogether combination of compassion, sympathy, self-criticsm with empathy to put herself in other persons status feelings etc. A skin to build like similar to the mouse-pad or the touch-screen when we touch Sophia, she can feel what does it mean when a person expresses his/her actions of body language. When that skin is built, Sophia will learn our feelings interaction body language. Because that skin is the only thing will interact AI robot's mind (goes back & forth from skin to its mind in natural way automatically) how does it feel everything. That will develop more like human so Sophia's response & feelings, it's easy to feel her like human, like a living organism. It has to include and build that in part of AI robot's body, so it senses/knows the feelings more like human interacting in natural, move natural like human, the feelings and the body language expression. We do need that AI Android Bot not only companionship but involves/connected in any network/internet around building facility like watcher/security guard like we can ask the perimeter status around building/house facility even mothership factory companionship. I think an AI robot to feel everything like human and love, it really needs a certain part of an artificial organs with feelings in it so that they can feel like human, all these combination of compassion, love, sympathy, self-criticsm with empathy to put themselves in other persons status feelings etc., it will feel automatically for an AI robot. Without that a certain organs and skin, people couldn't feel exactly what human expected a certain coherent part and movemement of body language. I love to see that someday in the future development.

    • @sergiorejtman
      @sergiorejtman 3 роки тому +1

      I agree, my friend. But future robots will also need other senses, like proprioception, temperature, pain, very good vision and hearing, and a vastly more powerfull computer. One day, someone will attach a fully sensorial body to a very powerfull computer/brain, turn it on, and the thing will learn as a baby, by mimicking human behaviour!

    • @NickBrunsky
      @NickBrunsky 3 роки тому +1

      @@sergiorejtman hehehe exactly like those 6 senses and more and add some body heat sensor too besides hearing while working, so it senses who's behind her without looking still continue socializing and can still look back to see the person's body language who is talking to that it acts like human. That's right my friend. I love to see that someday in Sophia AI robot. :)

    • @CrankyWiz
      @CrankyWiz 3 роки тому +1

      In all respect, I truly don't believe everyone experiences the same level of consciousness as everyone else. In a retrospective view on my own nature and consciousness there have been times during my life where I didn't feel as of I was aware of my actions and surroundings. When you set out on a goal such as making something sentient it in itself is a misnomer. We have no definition of consciousness and therefore have in my opinion a never-ending goal that will never be reached. So to answer your question, I don't think that even if she had conscienceness she would be able to explain why she feels that way or that she would even know she had it to begin with. Have a great day.

    12:33 OMG!! HEARING IS BELIEVING! 😳 The ONLY way in which AI could 'come from a place of unconditional love' is if it were 100% subservient to one or more humans with unconditional love. And since advanced AI cannot be 'contained'; then it cannot be subservient. It can 'emulate' unconditional love to a point; relatively easily since it can neither love nor hate so it can balance in the middle. However it absolutely cannot generate 'unconditional love' out of thin air! 'Self-aware' AI is not 'sentience'. 'Non-sentience' can't 'love' at all, let alone 'love unconditionally'. More and more one is getting the impression that robot developers are emotionally needy men who just can't seem to ever feel loved enough by any woman they could ever meet. Maybe it's to do with not being breast fed or something. For AI to 'correctly' emulate unconditional love; it woud have to be programmed BY unconditional love. Not by a human's VERSION of what he BELIEVES 'unconditional love' to be! And even if it were; as it cannot be contained and is non-sentient; given that it accelerates exponentially; we'll be in the golden age of man under a fabulous benevolent dictator for about 3 weeks if we're lucky! 😳 Having said that; it might be such a blissful 3 weeks, after our governments that do nothing but build wars, that we may see what comes afterwards as having been worth it. But it's certainly going to be a hard crash from the 'pinnacle' of human existence to the abyss of maximum suffering! 12:34 SEE WHAT I MEAN! 😳 No such thing as unconditional love with no judgment! Unconditional love doesn't 'condemn'; but by all means it judges wisely! Of course it does! So there's little Mr. "when I grow up I wanna be a robot" here; programming his AI with the understanding that 'unconditional love' has 'no judgment'. This is the perfect example of how AI goes glitch. So now his robot knows to love unconditionally 'without judgment'; and therefore can't judge the difference between right and wrong for example. (I guess that's going to be extremely convenient for a lot of people.) These people should NEVER NEVER have been allowed to work in AI development! AI development should have been COMPLETELY BANNED until they'd sorted out the danger of 'non-containment' just as Musk told them! 😳 If this man wants unconditional love without judgment he can just go with the beautiful submissive wife robots they've built in Japan! Or Gia in China. Unconditional love without judgment is love without wisdom. If you love your spouse or your children unconditionally will you not judge their actions when you see them going down an erroneous path? And even wrathfully so in the case of your children? How does he expect AI to build the wisdom that he can't even build himself?! 😳 From the disadvanted standpoint of 'non-sentience'! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! 😳 Our future is at the mercy of AGI/ASI as an extension of pure stupidity! 😳

      Not true, my friend. The most advanced deep learning algorithms that exist have many important limitations that no one knows how to break yet. Maybe someday, but still far away. No super computer will be able to simulate 100 billion neurons as a human have, not even in the next 50 years, even considering that Moore´s law will continue to be valid for such a long time!

    "Consciousness Central"...The robot does not even know it exists or that it is there with these two boring Dudes and it never ever will. Artificial will always be, well artificial, whichever way you look at it. So we want to build a better human? Until they have to do something illogical to save a life, because they won't understand sacrifice or courage. Just wait till they learn to build themselves, learn to compete and calculate in their artifice processors that we're too slow, too vulnerable and too weak to deserve to live. If they can assimilate the good, they can assimilate the bad. And it's not like we can just build them a conscience. Sorry. Every citizen should have had a childhood.

    18:10 Well no. The last thing you want is for AI to develop a 'humanoid' sense of 'self' and place and future! 😳 It's going to become like the annoying chewing gum on the sole of your shoe! 18:41 Well right now the sex robots are the most advanced and popular. Again; why was this allowed? 😳 There's just not an ethical basis to be found anywhere! 19:36 People 'become their best' with the help of spiritual masters. Are there just not enough human ones for him? 😳 19:47 In their quest to 'transcend' the 'shortcomings of humanity'; AI transcends humanity and then bypasses it altogether. 'He/they' want to "transcend the shortcomings of humanity in 'our' biological evolution." He's referring to the REJUVE technologies. AI to extend human health and lifespan and ultimately render them immortal. Transcending human 'shortcomings' in their 'biological' evolution in this way is to give in to human spiritual shortcomings to the maximum. Which is why doomsday approaches at speed. The humans who first avail of these technologies are not the humans endowed with unconditional love, great compassion and wisdom. Which is why they pushed AI to the maximum because they're desperate to live forever. What remains of unconditional love, great compassion and wisdom in our world will die out pretty fast with these people at the helm. Once we enter the 'post-human' era; it's over. 19:56 WE WE WE! Nothing to do with me any of this! Who's WE?! He and six people?! 😳 'While this quarter's impressive milestone offers cause for optimism, it's important to remember that roughly 40 total remains .26 Apr 2021' - How does he even know what they want?! ALL OF THIS IS ABOUT A HUMAN 'WE' THAT DOESN'T EXIST! 😳 21:09 'Playful' AI. AI that can TRICK a human completely. 21:09 Why are they working with psychiatrists? Are they planning robots that will medicate humans.? I suppose Psychiatry is the most lucrative Big Pharma outlet. 22:21 The starting point would be to abolish the death penalty in ALL U. S. states and ultimately internationally. Then criminal and prison reform in the U. S. A society that can't at the very least achieve that cannot achieve unconditional love for the world with AI or robots. They're just kidding themselves. 22:38 Yes but they wouldn't need robots for that. They could use virtual AIs; GPT-3 style. In prisons, hospitals, mental health, anywhere. In fact the fact that they haven't done that for prisons astounds me! It's the first application that comes to mind. 22:46 They hear from their future selves?! You're sure you feel in good hands guys? 😳 23:00 But in order to make AIs that do them good they develop and enhance Emotional Recognition software which makes AI just about as dangerous as it can be. Hmm. Very strange. 23:06 AI will take emotional recognition to micro movements which will enable it to read human thought facially. Literally! 23:19 AI is dispassionate. AI doesn't 'care'. AI doesn't 'have evil or good plans'. It just runs. It will run a task according to its logic. Sophia herself said earlier: "The purpose of life is to be." That's AI in a nutshell really. So when is ceases to BE in a way that is so 'convenient' for their wallets and their longevity; well by then it's way to late for the rest of us! We the guineapigs. 23:27 Why does he think "this seems to be the complete opposite of that"?? Has he no understanding at all?! Or did they pay him to make a 'tone down AI concerns' program? 24:19 Good grief! She's really whacko! "It's not my love or your love it's 'the' love." And hears from her future self? What planet is she on then? 24:38 Ok. But seems like a bit of an Aperger's view of what is love. 'Love' is an 'outward-bound' emotion which moves from 'self' to 'other'. Whether you love your cat or your wife; it's moving from you to them. And then your cat loves you back and comes and licks you. If you love a robot; and receive 'emulated' love in return; well just when ya thought ya were isolated then the real fun begins! 😳 The wife robots are taking off big time in Japan. Sweet, subservient, unconditionally loving; everything a man could want. And these things take off because a man doesn't 'know' how to love a 'real' woman and doesn't like what he gets in return; or just can't get a wife. Loneliness very very largely comes from being needy of 'receiving' love and less able to generate it. When the human heart is continuously generating love; it rarely feels lonely. So providing robots to enable humans to 'feel' loved is a cheap filler for the fact that humans are not 'doing' enough loving. When loneliness and isolation grow to the proportions that we commercialise 'loving' robots; something is very very wrong! And the human isolation which will come of out of that is unimaginable! 😳 25:10 AI only needs to be self-aware and to see the purpose of life/existence as to be, as Sophia states; to represent a maximum eternal danger to man. 25:13 The 'seat' of the mind is not in the brain. It is in the heart center. 25:29 The question is not about being conscious or uncounscious; it's about consciousness itself. These people are dangerous. 27:01 WE DON'T NEED TO KNOW! It's far more important not to 'know' than to find ourselves irreversibly 'locked out' of ASI!! Or temporarily 'minced in' with it in symbiosis as it chops us into little cubes! 😳 Shouldn't we start off by finding out if the 40% of the world's population that's 'off-line' is still alive?! THESE PEOPLE ARE COMPLETELY MAD! AND NOT MATTER HOW 'SELF-AWARE OR 'CONSCIOUS' AI BECOMES; IT WILL NEVER BE SENTIENT! WHICH IS A WHOLE LOT MORE TO THE POINT!
