- This video is about a Kubota B series tractor ROP Storage Box and how I built a tool box/chain holder to allows tools and chain to be carried on the tractor for easy access. I had most of the metal around the shop, I did need to buy the box, and the mounting hardware see link below. I used my Lincoln electric MIG welder and my porta band to fabricate the frame and the support arm. I then added a little Kubota Orange paint and got it mounted. It turned our great.

Nice build! I used the round tube in the front loader for my chains. Used thin wall pvc pipe with clean out plugs on both sides. It holds lots of chain. Look up kubota chain holder on here.

So now that you have had it for a while, how many times have you rammed your arm/elbow into it? Like the mount, but serious question.
After fitting it one time i moved it up about 3" and have not hit it again.

Peter J I have a three legged Mary, it Gives a super strong base, I used a really big crescent wrench with a pipe stuck on the end of it and I twisted it cold.

I got the steel from tractor supply, I bent it my self in a vice using a really big crescent wrench.
Almost looks like you could recycle a lawn mower blade for rop mounted piece.
Looks like an elbow banger to me, wouldn't put it there.
