"...doing Jimmy Saville you can get away with it". You're not wrong there Parky.
WHO KNEW?
😂 I’m sure parky knew all about saville
I noticed that too!
McGowans Parky though is superb.....
Me and some friends sat next to him at Pizza Express in Cheltenham. I think he came for the Book festival, we also said goodbye when he left and he waved back! Quite a nice guy.
Cool story bro
Alistair McGowan is one of the best impersonators, my favourite is (Richard) from richard and judy
God yes his Richard Madeley is inspired.
well said! Yes, it's really good stuff, well written and researched and brilliantly performed - it's a shame there isn't more like this!
There's plenty of talent like this just no longer a platform for them to perform anymore. The death of working mens clubs has killed the ability for raw talent to learn their craft and build an audience before making it to TV, which has forced the TV channels to make safer programs that follow tried and tested formulas featuring pretty much the same cast in all of them. With only really generic safe talent being able to breakthrough.
First saw this guy when he was in 'all quiet on the preton front' and he has just got better and better!
What a genius
I like his thinking about animals. It's like "Creature Comforts" in reverse.
the best of British TV...........
superb
he does a great alan hansen
Love this
Moira Stuart 😂
Anyone got the clip of him doing Elvis Costello? It's hysterical.
Please upload the Elvis Costello impression , it's brilliant.
watched him on who do you think you are and turns out he actually indian but with irish ancestry but born in england
Considering this has been uploaded by BBC Studios, this clip is of such poor quality. Why?
Mate this was posted 16 years ago what do you expect
watch danny posthill impressionist he is up and coming
Interesting info, although it does seem to miss TTRO's point, somewhat.
We are animals to..
He is British, so am I. Why are you people ashamed to be called British?
im english and i hate being called british, people say i have such a "british"accent but i dont, i am english and have an english accent and even then there are so many accents in engalnd alone not to mention the rest of britain, liverpool, london, newcastle they all sound so different i hate being labelled as just british because the other countries in britain are just that seperate countriesand ive gone on wayy too long so i dont even care any more whatever
Dude, I'm from Southern Ireland and believe me I don't think Michael Collins gave his life so 100 years on stupid people on youtube could involve us in the 'U.K'.
not pot, dot
Why are we crazy? Cos we can impersonate actors and singers that are famous in our own country?? LOL
This guy is good but watch Danny posthill he is up and coming
Why is there such a long dicussion about this on this video?
The UK = Great Britain. Northern Ireland is included - the ROI is independent of the UK.
@steviohare macedonian.
hes so much better than jon culshaw and bremner too
I mean the UK = just 'Britain'. I see now what the argument is about. UK = Britain but Great Britain is the island consisting of Scotland, England and Wales. So NI and Shetlands, Eilean Sear etc. are British but not 'Great British'. A little confusing.
i watched him hes good, dont think much to the jimmy carr impression tho.
Actually it's the other way around. Great Britain is just England, Scotland and Wales. The UK is Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Your point being?
That's obvious.
i thought we were the united kingdom of america,or, the united states of britain,
formerly known as great but not so great now
His Michael Owen was shit. So was his Robbie Williams.
John McLean no it wasn’t
A very poor mans Jon Culshaw!
erm rooney IS a scouser, and from the others mentioned only beckham hasnt had some relationship with liverpool, hes 1 dimensional, mcgowan is far better
nothern ireland is not part of britain..part of U.K. but not britain...people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones
No, he isn't.
IM SORRY URBANARTUK!! i see you were fairly reasonable there. u took it back. i think irish people can't help getting furious over independence!! sorry
Well i always thought he was crap and this reinforces it !
go get vaxxed bootlicker
white lives matter
Not as good as Bremner is and lacking the satirical sharpness.
