@@lycanthoss If the Rysen 7 7800X 3D already beats the Intel 14900k, imagine the 9800 X3D, I still believe that AMD will improve the AM5 platform little by little, as it did with the last generation, it has everything to be a great processor.
@@vinidsr how is Intel relevant to my comment? We know Arrow Lake can't compete with X3D chips. My comment was pointing out that there probably won't be any reason to get the 9800X3D, because a 5% average improvement is basically nothing, while the new chips will cost more than existing 7000 chips. If you don't have money to spend elsewhere, sure, get the new X3D chips. They will likely be the fastest gaming CPUs. But the difference to the 7800X3D will be laughable.
You guys, don't celebrate early, I think this is just the announcement of the announcement. Edit: nvm, Tom's hardware confirms this is the launch date. Nice
Now why don't you promote Radeon like this? This is a great ad for Ryzen! Radeon gpus are good but you'd never know it because of how horribly they are promoted.
How is that a great ad? There's no info whatsoever, no price, specs, benchmarks or even the actual name of the CPU, just the release date. It seems like they're rushing this launch due to the poor reception of Zen 5 and don't want to risk being overshadowed by Intel. I hope this doesn't backfire.
Oh it is very good, just look at Phoronix and similar benchmarks. Modern desktop CPUs are getting more and more like server/datacenter CPUs in complexity and architecture so you need a proper modern operating system like GNU/Linux to truly take all advantage of new desktop CPUs like Zen5.
