      @razorend22 3 роки тому +3

      He can only do this because it's a 1k game. Try to do this in a 3k game, and you'll soak up your carry's farm, won't be there for the team fights your team will lose, and you'll likely just feed if you show up as a pos5 on 3 waves. You won't get far with the "fuck whatever my team is doing" mentality as a support player. You gotta win the carry's lane then follow whatever the playmaker (mid or offlane) is doing.

    What's really nice is that in this video, BSJ isn't styling on opponents. He's not doing things that require being at a 9K mmr level to understand and to do. But what he's doing is enough to win people most games at that bracket. So yeah, very cool, as usual.

    • @zachb8012
      @zachb8012 4 роки тому

      He couldn't, "carry the lane as a support" at his own MMR though? Would it be cool if I show up at a primary school recess to play some street basketball? "I'll play defensively and narrate because these guys are a much lower MMR than me. See how this kid is going shoot? Watch as I stuff the ball right into this 4'10" prepubescent chode's face? So he's crying now, I just have to set up pick on his buddy."
      "DOUBLE KILL!"

    This is the best episode of the series so far. It shows what you can do right, but it also illustrates the problems you might run into. In 1k you will get flamed if you farm like that - and when you don't win the game you will be reported, a lot. I guess many people will not dare to play this way as a pos 5 for that reason alone.
    However, I am looking differently at the game now, in a very intriguing way. Looking forward to a pos 4 video and how that might differ from pos 5.

    This is extremly Low mmr. I wish he would do this in around 2k bracket. The quality of games in 2k are so much higher than in 1k. Dont get me wrong. This content is fucking awsome but i think many players cant get this done in 2k or 3k.
    But as u said in the Jakiro Rep analysis...You will win most likely 70%.
    I hope these 70% will kick in very soon in my games since by now. Pushing is fun, but did not win me games :D

      For me the concept actually is very valuable even up to the 5k+ bracket, the biggest difference from my perspective is that people move based on timings and tend to group together most of the time. I play on SEA server btw where people don't give a damn xD, I gained around 800 mmr just from actively thinking about BSJ's tips during the game and I feel that I got a better understanding of the game flow now compared to before (or i was really just a bad player before)

    this is probably the way to play support in 1k mmr because in high immortal bracket if you show on map as a support you will be punished in 5-10 seconds, I remember applying this technique in one of my matches when I was divine, where my 3 cores were farm heroes, farmer mid, farmer offlaner and farmer safelaner, they all needed space, and it was worse than 1k mmr, what I did as a pos 5 venom I bought smoke and used it on myself and cut all waves to make sure that enemies won't reach our towers by any means, delayed the game to min ~ 40-45 and we won it late game with 3 farmers
    the main point is to look for what matters and do it, support items and fights were the way to lose the game because no chance 3 farmers will win game in early game
    instead cutting waves and avoiding fights won the game and all items I bought that can help sneak and cut waves instead of supporting items

      In higher brackets the pos 5 always carries at least 1 salve early game and it's usually for the carry and not themselves, so it's kind of a pos 5 job to do so. This due to the fact that if you win the "regen fight" without your carry spending more gold on it (sometimes because the lane goes poorly and he just bought another necessary item to sustain, sometimes he messed up his item build and you need to aid to recover, anyways), the difference of farm between your carry and the enemies pos 3&4 will increase, allowing him to snowball, in this case you could argue the 2 more salves were actually "for him", because without them, the PA would have gotten killed or zoned, making the 2 level difference to never exist, forcing BSJ to stay in lane more time; even tho the PA actually died with the 2 level difference, you usually don't let your carry alone 1v2 when the other 2 are the same level (only on really specific scenarios). So in order for him to get his own space/freedom, this was a good/necessary call.

    • @arielperez3434
      @arielperez3434 4 роки тому

      Pa wants regen and would buy more salves if they were free.
      Dk didn't seem to care about the ward which is free. If you force him to take it, he might put it somewhere, but if he doesn't care you might as well use it.
      I think another example of this would be don't buy meteor hammer in this game so that you can push towers, since it's DK's job to push towers.
      CM's job is to push creep waves, and so buying things that enable you to do that better is more efficient.

    The thing with this video series is that everything becomes a nail when you're a hammer. And the hammer - in this case - is lane pushing. On pos5 you aught to spend your time and brainpower coming up with and calling good rotations, stacking, coordinating gangs and so on. BSJ's strategy will earn you some MMR, but if you keep playing with this mindset in a higher bracket it will put your team in a major disadvantage.

    • @federicopalacios7439
      @federicopalacios7439 2 роки тому

      The point is to escape the trench where no one does what they are supposed to do. By mid 3K and 4K people are already good at pressuring towers and hitting creeps, so you will adapt accordingly and there's different concepts you'll have to learn. Slacks is absolute trash at the game, his mechanics are worse than the average 2K, but he got to 5K simply by abusing Omni back when the hero had like 60% winrate for two years straight, and he played INCREDIBLY greedy, he never bought wards, always stealing his cores farm, always pushing, and by the time he had aghs refresher he would win every team fight. I'm not saying you should copy that, only take farm that you know is not going to be taken (which is honestly like 50% of the map at low MMR).
