Losing someone that close to you is extremely difficult. We all know this from experience. You need to stay strong and continue to honor him by using what made him an inspiration to you and inspire others.

I know a priest who, despite having to use a crutch, gets up every morning and says the Latin mass which is physically taxing considering it requires the priest to do well over a dozen genuflections. He sits in the confessional for hours every other day even when no one is there but he stays there if it means helping one person who walks in at the last minute. He is the closest thing to a saint I’ve ever met.

It’s hard losing someone that you care about I lost a very close friend of mine a few years ago he was like a brother that I never had I know how you feel God love you brother I really don’t miss those 100° days in South Alabama with 100% humidity man I can get some kind of hot you stay safe God love you

I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. Being in the army I’ve lost a few myself. But my biggest inspiration was my dad. I always tried to emulate him and what he did. He got me into pipe smoking after all. God bless
