The answer to a dead bedroom is divorce. My wife refuses to even talk about it. Refuses to allow responsive desire to work its magic. (It does for, but a big nope anymore)
The #1 thing that most men want out of marriage is to be desired and pursued by his partner. So if losing that is the almost inevitable result of marriage, isn't that a strong argument against a man ever marrying anyone?
It may have been Lauren Bacall who advised women to "play-act" in sex because she realized men needed to feel desired, since the woman seldom possessed the natural inclination. So she realized that, for women, sex must become "acting" to make it work. She was onto something here. But the disappointment for men is that women generally won't even take an interest in play-acting, let alone the real thing. I think this sheds light on a woman's nature more than anything.
It wasn't a decrease = it was total abandonment. NOTHING! No kissing, no touching, NOTHING! Will NOT consider responsive desire.
