We pay for their helicopter but cowboys decided to have a high speed chase going the wrong way.
@@RichardKeysoftware It all happened in a matter of minutes. Do you know how long it takes to get crew ready, get them to the helicopter, get the helicopter ready and then reach the scene? If you are lucky, about half an hour and if you're not lucky, it can take a few hours.

@denisedeion, actually, it's the opposite. She's having to juggle several investigative, health and legal institutions, plus the sudden chaos into which several families have just been thrown. She has to be totally accurate, operating within very strict guidelines. A slip in judgement can have explosive implications. All that with a calm, emotionless demeanor after probably just having seen several mangled and dismembered bodies. Repeat questions are a relief. She has an unbelievably tough job.

All we got from this video is that the spokesperson has "no information" and dont want to incriminate themselves incase theres any wrong doing by the police which clearly there are many.
It would be smart if she says from the start that since she has no information at this stage, there is no point in conducting Q&As to save everyone's time.

So a robbery that would’ve gotten a slap on the wrist bc our system is severally flawed, was worth chasing down the highway the wrong way and loosing 3 innocent lives. Pathetic.

It could be avoided just close few exits. It's very sad that a criminal took a wrong direction on highway and speedy chase took place, now 4 inocent life are gone. It's commonsce to chase in wrong direction on busy highway certainly many inocent life are in danger. I am not sure is there any proper guidelines in our police department, how to properly handle wrong way car chases.

Because genius nobody can stop a criminal from doing something illegal like driving on the wrong side of the road. No amount of laws or talking about it will change that, police following that criminal that decided to drive up the wrong side of the road just makes it even more dangerous for civilians. My advice to the police officers , not to chase the suspects , because this is where it is going to end up ! The suspect will stop any way some where . And with the technology we have these days we can find where he is easily and arrest him .

It's not stopping the chase. It's using their heads instead of trying to be cowboys. There is a chopper in the air in durham at all time with a camera zoom you can't even comprehend. That could have followed them and pinned them. Instead they pushed that person to get more reckless. Who knows of the results would have been different but that isn't the right call.
