• DDs How to Make a Jar ...
Deanna, I have made these before. I enclosed a small magnet so that it sticks to the fridge and is therefore always handy.
Super idea!
Great idea! Is the magnet floating or do you sew it in a corner? Trying to figure out how you do it😊
@@bookmaid1 I am wondering the same thing??
@@84Diannesame. I am thinking about a little E6000 applied to the back of the magnet attached to the top of the gripper side so the fabric shows rather than the gripper side. Kitchen themed fabric may sell well.
I love making these. I made a bunch for my baby shower last year and they were a huge hit. Dollar tree has rolls of shelf liner too! I also added a ribbon hoop so it can be hung up.
they would be good for holding hot canning jars too.
You are super talented, I just love it.
These are so great!!! I need some for my house. Hugs and blessings.
Thank you! You too!
Yes!! I’m making these!! Thank you for sharing them! What a great idea! I think $5 each is a good price! ❤❤❤
Have fun!
Love these! It takes both my husband and me to open jars anymore! So older people especially will love these! Great Christmas idea! ❤️❤️
Hi Crafty Deanna very pretty jar openers. Those drawer liners are very handy and sturdy 👍
Love this idea, especially for elders (and the not so elderly) who have trouble opening jars.Great idea
Cute idea. I always use one of the flat rubber circles to open bottles and jars. These are much more fun to make for stocking stuffers.
Thank you! 😊
I Love the jar opener pads, very useful and pretty. I would like to see how you finger knit a blanket.
Noted!
Fabulous idea!! Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
These are so fun I have made them in the past. .. the tissue paper is genius!!!! thanks for shraing.
Yes! It made it easy!
Yes I have seen these and want to try them. A little rickrac with hanging tab. Oh and maybe do a kitchen boa to match.
Very nice jar opener pads!

Hello, I watch all your video and I don’t comment here and there. I love your videos. Just want to say thank you so much for sharing the jar grippers. My friend passed away unexpectedly and needed help with cost and I made some of these and sold them to help make money for the family. So thank you for sharing with us. ❤
So sorry for your loss!
So sorry for your loss. How thoughtful of you.

You should!
Love that idea I'm going to make some for my family for gifts and thank you for letting me know about the tissue paper that's a great idea.
Thank you
Cute, fast and easy jar opener. Good idea to stitch with the tissue paper. Yes, like to watch the knitting project too.
Thank you! 😊
I have made these too. I use mine all the time . Great item for craft fairs
Thank you
Your walking foot will work if you sew with the rubber part up. Learned that from another video. I don't remember who it was.
Love it!
I love this idea I can even see putting a hang tab on it.
LOVE THEM
Thank you
I just ordered the padding- can’t wait to get started! Thank you for your video! ☺️❤️🩹
So awesome, can't wait to make some!
Please do!
Super cute! TFS
Thank you! 😊
What a great idea! They should sell well at craft fair. I do have those rubber jar grippers but having decorated versus plain would be nice.
Totally!
Great idea. 💕💕💕
Thank you! 😊
Great idea! I love Guitterman thread also!
I love it!
What an adorable idea. ❤
Thank you! 😊
It'd make a nice stocking stuffer. Cute!
I love these. Thank you for another amazing Craft Fair Idea.
You are so welcome!
Awesome idea! Thanks for sharing
You are so welcome!
I’ll be making some of those for Christmas gifts. Thank you!
Awesome!
Thank you for the tutorial it was very helpful Do you wash your fabric prior to making these?
So nice❣
Thank you
Great idea! Can’t wait to make some of these jar openers. Good way to use fabric scraps also. Thanks for the tissue paper tip.
You are so welcome!
Cut fabric with pinking shears. Cut shelf liner 1 inch smaller. Zig zag liner to the wrong side of fabric using tissue paper to make it sew easily. So many less steps and lots less time. I gave them to random people and all the comments have been positive
I've made these and they're very useful but weren't popular when i tried to sell them at my craft fair.
We will see how they go!
❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the tissue paper tip. I made a few (before I knew this) and was discouraged, because my shelf liner "peeled" from my presser foot. One tutorial suggested I use a walking foot. This is simpler and easier. Thank you! That fabric is so cute!
Wonderful!
I would love to see finger crochet
Do you have the link to the bags you bought?
No not those I’m sorry I have had them a long time
I don't have a sewing machine and I don't know how to sew is there any other way to make it these without sewing
You could use fabric glue….
@@findlayhunter4934 thank you
Lord have mercy you can babble on. Great idea! just way too much rambling!
Sorry!
@@CraftyCraftsByDeannaYou have some good tips for people who don't normally sew.
Love these! It takes both my husband and me to open jars anymore! So older people especially will love these! Great Christmas idea! ❤️❤️
Wonderful!
