i can't wrap my mind around why capcom would include unreactable and safe moves in this game, it just feels so unfair to the point punishing them doesn't even feel satisying.
I mean, they've been part of Street Fighter since SF2 so they're nothing new. Not saying I think they should or shouldn't be there, just that they've always been.
Well, no one talks about random overheads. You are forced to make a read and block high because if you try to react you'll get crush countered or blown up.
I think it's reasonable to create moves to which you cannot react to and possibly punish on block. I think that, because you can beat it by attacking preemtively with an attack of your own, so that if your opponent tries to use the move, you interrupt their attack and you hit them, instead.
I just went from Bronze to Silver and this was a nightmare. Especially Bison and Honda players. Now I know I can interrupt them it's a wrap Dude more videos like this please!
Good to know of the three types & how to try & deal w/them. 0:53 Poor Chun-0.0 I try to be careful when going for a meaty, since one of those can hit. I'm only super silver (not the suggested ranks of gold/plat) , but figured I can try to apply this since I run into those moves. Thanks.
Oh I play against Cobra-Kai100 all the time. I've only played against you once though. It appeared on a video but I don't want to reveal it since I played quite badly lol
You have the best cerebral sfv content on UA-cam, of this I am certain. If you keep this up you're going to be a household fgc name like rooflemonger, max dood, etc
Thanks this has given me some food for thought. I mainly play as Honda and I fin Rogs charge move an absolute nightmare to detect. It's repetition and definitely just practice over and over and it then increases yoirr reaction. I'm only top end of Super Gold at the moment, played a Super Platinum Urien in Battle Lounge. I didn't win, but I learned a lot and got a few rounds in.
Some of these moves are actually the worst enemies of the players who abuse them. You can get to Gold and sometimes even Platinum by spamming these a lot, and then all of a sudden you hit a glass ceiling and don't realize why. Basically you're now facing enough opponents who know how to deal with the bs, but you also still beat a decent amount of other players. The Problem is, that you skipped a lot of steps when it came to skills and you're more or less playing "above your level". And it's not your fault to be clear, why would you stop doing something that wins games?? I've been there, I was the demon flip spamming Akuma back when the slide was still +2 on block 😅
@@mikef8846 I'm a silver player, I remember this giving me such a hard time until I asked in a sfv stream what to do about it and someone said "what? this is negative, just hit any button when he teleports" and then my matches with bronze/silver dictators changed forever 😄
0:44 Urien EX tackle into aegis haunts everyone. Urien ex tackle and Rog ex straight seem the ones that fit the most in the category. Akuma ex demon flip I reckon you can react dp
Can you make a video about dealing with Nash...!?!? Some of his special AND normal moves leave him negative on block, but space him out to where it's impossible to punish with most of the cast without using bar
Still requires training and all, but I appreciate how straightforward this is as far as recognizing the types of yolo moves to deal with. Also, Chunners taking the abuse. Poor Chunners. 😔😞
@@MCMuraFGC That describes my play style pretty well lol. But also Chun-li’s character. I really tend to struggle if my opponent doesn’t know what they are doing (random bullshit, go!) or if they switch their play style up during the match (being very passive to being very aggressive)
Yesterday i had such a bad match vs this unga ken. Teched every time i wanted to throw or backdashed. Block when i meatied. Wake up hurricane kick when i try to shimmy or throw. Then after that he decided to press buttons every single wakeup after getting crush countered twice. This game sucks man lol
Was the combo at 1:21 patched out since you recorded this or something? I just tried it in training mode and b.hk into s.hk doesn't work for me, even on counter hit.
block more. Take your time, bait their wakups outside of throw range. They will give you free damage. Stop trying to go for the big combo and shave their health down with punishes.
These moves are so annoying and op in this game, not having one is really a bad point. I use Seth and do the tackle v-skill 2 that leaves me -2, or +2 if i use v-trigger 1, it got me so many wins, not by skill, i just throw it and get results(still works in super gold). there are also unsafe tackles that give much more reward in v-skill 2, and they are projectile invencible, one bad fireball is all it takes for me to get oki or CA from doing it from 3/4 of the screen.
Jesus Christ have any of you ever played SF before this has been a thing in sf4 to a higher degree and the amount of people complaining about stuffing out a move that’s obviously moving forward towards you “neutral skipping” fucking joke
The best.your channel will be huge
For real I love the short informative videos lolol
Thank you so much

Punishing them? I can’t even punish them if I read correctly 🤣

Yeah, literally free pressure for chars like Bison, Balrog or Akira.

This happened to me with Bison's teleport V-skill. Got me through bronze and most of silver. Had no idea how to really play Bison.

You need to have VT1 active to get the B.HK to put them in a juggle state
@@MCMuraFGC Ah, I see. Thanks bro.
My issues with kage vt1 vs2 random safe unreachable move , my friend destroyed me with that move lol
Yeah, that one is crazy
How to deal with those bronze Kens just spaming Shoryuken whenever they can?
You should be doing 4x the damage when you block one than what they do when they hit one, make sure you're optimizing your punishes.

Where's the SF 6 update for this?
NGL I rewinded alot to look at chuns stun animation.
