College life will be lots of fun. Nothing will change overnight about your personality though. One hard transition will be this, if you were a high schooler who needed your parents to constantly be on your back to get up for school or to get assignments turned in…you will struggle with the change of not having them their as your save guard. Only you know you and so if you are going to succeed at this adjustment in life you will have to put things in place to promote your success. Be wise girls…at this stage of life the power to succeed is in your hands… your parents are turning that torch over to you. Keep it 🔥 lit in all ways😁😁😁.🎊🎊🎊 to the science majors!

Y’all are absolutely right about the hbcu experience. I attend Southern University Agricultural and Mechanical College, and it’s was the best decision I’ve ever made. I am a finance major, and my department is so amazing. They give so much scholarship and internship opportunities. Also, staying in an all girl dorm is amazing it’s really like a mall/ salon. You really have your own community, and a safe haven at the same time. P.S. don’t take 8am classes

The college I want to go to is Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana and major in Biology and my minor would be pre- med. Then after that I want to go to Meharry Medical College in Tennessee and become a pediatrician 😁💗
