so grateful I got to see & record Merl & the Rainforest Band play a bunch of time in the early 90s
Found myself randomly in Breckinridge in a snowstorm merl was playing at a hotel or something small we all hung out it was so cool. Great people great music maybe March 97 96
Been listening to Melvin, Gloria, Jackie crew for years. After hearing Tony Saunders the other night at a bar I am just now discovering Merl Saunders. Wow!!!!!!💃🕺🎇
He worked with Jerry Garcia and there’s no way any dead head worth his salt doesn’t know this talent of a man 😎 check out their albums together
@@treebeard8475 call me what you want, but that's some good music!!!!
I am so thankful to Steve Keyser for providing this tape of our dear brother Mer Saunders and Michael Hinton and others in Japan. Wow!!!
I just love The respect that people of other countries have for all of us musicians. If you look At most American made videos. weather made from a public video or from a commercial Videographer, they never seem to be able to Video the entire groupl, but focus only on their favorite instrument.. Usually guitar and usually singer But they usually leave out the drummer and leave out the bass player. But in this case the Japanese truly loved us and wanted to highlight our performance. For that I truly appreciate .
That was so unexpected for me. We need more Japanese hippies tbh but respect great video and audio
I love it
