Korn is one of those bands that you don’t have to get to like them. The songs are catchy enough by themselves, there is really rich sonic landscape and the vocals are expressive enough to convey emotions even when you don’t get it. They can make the most serious songs and put them in the same album as A.D.I.D.A.S or All in The Family. And they’re all bangers.

For me this song describes what I felt in my very early teens (13 and 14) in the very early 80s. I actually tried to self delete myself seriously twice. For real, two trips to the psych hospital. Once for 6 months and the second for 4 months. 1983 and 1984. Believe it or not on the second trip music made such a difference in my life I completely changed my life outlook and have had a pretty decent life since then. Yeah, have had need of a shrink at different times but have always managed to get help before it was too late if ya know what I mean. 55 years old now and I still love this kind of music. Saw KORN in concert when I was in my 30s. I think it was 1999 when I turned 30. Metallica's Summer Sanitarium tour. Kid Rock, Powerman 5000. KORN, and of course Metallica to finish the day. QUICK EDIT: When I was young I actually played Russian roulette and I have to admit it was a huge rush. It actually cancelled out my depression for a couple of months, I think.(?) Please young people never do that. Please, please. I was in a dark place. I am a big guy. I was over 6 feet tall by the time I was 13 and I hung out with way older kids because of that. I did a lot of drugs back then and it was a huge factor in what went wrong with me. Not to mention having ADD (diagnosed when I was in second grade) which made making bad choices easy a fuck. Man I wish I could get treatment for ADD now but it's too hard.
I just can't believe someone listened to this song and realised how well it goes along with Taylor Swift. Like, they are just so different. (But it strangely works)
I dedicate this song to my X - crazy girl who depressed me for months with her yelling - hitting - threats - once I left her I turned up this song and then my soul was right again with life. :)
