I suffer from PTSD and Schizoaffective and this perfectly describes what I go through on a daily basis. There's a constant war on the inside tearing me up everyday. Songs like this are what keep me going and realize that I'm not alone.

I'm a hip hop guy, but I love Korn. Especially everything from the late 90ies. Issues is a masterpiece album in my opinion and this song is a killer. It produces a special kind of vibe I could feel as a 13 years old kid and I can feel it today as an adult aswell. Hard to describe, but the younger self is still in me when I hear this song.

Time travel back to the 90s and everyone was talking about them, had stickers , t shirts , tattoos of the name of the band on them. People worshiped this band along with NiN, Pantera, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Tool ect. Some people will never stop talking about them. I met a guy just to find out shortly after meeting he found out he has chronic Luekemia and then the VA taking their time to get meds to him. Mean while finding more cancer. He is on a spiraling down slide in his mind. Now it seems every song I hear reminds me of him. All I can do is try and keep him from sliding off that edge because we live 200 miles apart.

I saw Korn live back in 2011 I was pregnant at the time and didn't know. I went crowd surfing to Korn and five finger death punch at the last 101 KUFO concert in Oregon state. It was EPIC! later on I had a miscarriage in November baby was due may 5th of 2012. There was no heart beat when I had my first ultrasound at about 3 months of pregnancy...... I love Korn I will always love Korn and relate to their lyrics...... definitely beat me down I still get harassed and bullied by my old high school peers to this day about my miscarriage I did have medical documented proof.... and people still make fun of me...

Mentally separating yourself from the body can ease you of your physical pain, and this describes what's happening when people are beating the s*** out of you you can't do nothing about it so you just mentally separated where you're safe you're still aware what's going on but you're disconnected
