- My day started off by walking to the Kayanwala lake, on the way I met some friendly locals and some beautiful pigeons. After that I continued my way to Pidurangala which is a rock opposite of the Sigiriya or Lion's rock.
Made my way to the top, enjoyed gorgeous views and made my way back down where I had a delicious coconut.
To end the day a tuktuk driver showed some real wild elephants which I was very surprised about.

Badulla is close to Ella. Not Dambulla . 😁. But yea should definitely go to Ella. so beautiful and scenic. Relatively cold weather. Lots of waterfalls and Very touristy also...

Hiw can Tim promote tourism when there are so many scammers in Sri Lanka? Moonstone and Gem Palace at Meetiyagoda in southern Sri lanka ripped him off of $200 selling him a fake stone as a valuable gem! Scammers everywhere trying to sell him junk following him touting junk merchandise that he has non interest in buying bothering his privacy. Forcing him to buy things he doesn’t need. Let tourists enjoy the surroundings in peace . Have laws against disturbing tourists.
Yesterday I visited Sigiriya for the first time with my Japanese friends. I love Sigiriya and that place gave me great joy and happiness.

Male elephants live alone or in bachelor groups, but female elephants and their calves typically form herds that are led by the matriarch, the oldest and wisest female elephant in the group. Interestingly, the matriarch plays a critical role in the survival of the herd by providing important knowledge and skills to younger elephants, similar to how experienced employees in corporate give KT to their juniors.. 😎

I felt like you go to deep inside of humans. Your're not a tour anywhere. I watch all over videos you uploaded in your channel. I'm glad, as a journey you did your job very well. Normally foreigners would like to go some places with a guide. So totally the guider guide and the tourists felt that I'm safe from this person. Belonging a unknown geographically area you are a brave one.
When the tourists with a white skin just felt like a weird, cz you know you just like to meet people and talk with them, sharing the emotions are the precious thing. These are the experiences. Once I accidentally went really close to a wild peacock in anuradhapura, sri lanka thinking it was a statue or something because it was so perfect to be true. Turns out it moved when I was like a foot away. It was amazingly beautiful and lucky I captured a really cool shot of it. Apparently those peacocks really like to destroy fields and they aren't even scared of humans. It works the other way around.
