    Great tips Pete! That match between rafa and thiem was a classic and a reminder that if your opponent is on fire , it wont last , its very hard for most club players to keep up that level of play for an entire match.

    Totally agree with moving the feet. The reality is that most 3.0/3.5 do not do it. Particularly senior players who find it tiring. Also note that the pace is slower 3.5 so one can often get away with not doing it. Maybe we can do a video on split-stepping for senior players.

    I can only speak for myself but finally understanding the game MUST be played on the forefoot all the time and how it is interconnected with balance, power, and reaction time helped me understand at a more granular level the importance of moving your feet. Maybe i'm just slow on the uptake, but I wish more instructors would emphasize this!
