It's like a foreshadowing of the new upcoming map. They will go behind hourglass where there would be huuuge radianite boxes and that would be underground and that underground area would be the new map. I guess that some areas would resemble fracture mid crossing area.

Omen was tasked with killing viper before he was transformed into what he is now. Viper kept that secret from omen, but recently he (and us, the players) discovered the truth
