I don't know. It had some good parts and Gal and Chris were a delight. I loved the opening sequence and the White House fight was cool. My wish would be a better script though.

It's called, if you fly a plane you can fly em all, that is Trevor's super power, and the escalator. Really obviously he wouldn't know how to use it
Remember the (admittedly funny) scene in "Wonder Woman" where Wonder Woman is having trouble going through a revolving door...but she can perform acrobatic feats flawlessly.
He was acting like those mentally vloggers who make reaction videos for starving peasants. He has to be amazed at everything like he is trying to dictate the reaction of moviegoers. the most disgusting moment in the film was when that Little Black girl that looks like a grandma was trying to lead the viewers to react to a scene as if we are all viewing a Reaction Video.
Gets even weirder when you find out escalators was invented _before_ WWI even started. He might get weird out by the different aesthetics, but he would be at least familiar with the concept of "moving staircases".

Wouldn't Max renouncing his wish automatically renounce every wish he had granted as the wish stone? Which I guess explains why Cheetah was back to being Sexy Barbara. Nerd Barbara wished on the stone to be Sexy Barbara, then on Max to be Cheetah, the latter being undone by Max.

Goku begging everyone for energy when doing his spirit bomb is more realistic than everyone renouncing their wish because Wonder Woman told them so.

The movie needs an After Credits scene where Random Handsome Man gets fired from his job due to going AWOL, gets dumped by his lover because he stopped being in contact and was seen galavanting with a beautiful woman, gets on the wanted list because he got caught in CCTV stealing a plane, and, finally, goes bankrupt after he uses all his savings trying to find out why he can't remember what happened in the past few weeks and why his life is suddenly in ruins.
Why I hate what they did to this guy is because they emphasized it and focused on the fact Steve was in some other mans body. They brought so much attention to it they have nobody to blame but themselves for the backlash

Since the stone was created by the god of lies and was basically evil, him wishing to be the stone should've just turned him into stone.

Why does it always have to be the world that is ending? The real issue is everything becomes to big and to impersonal. Keep is small, make us care about the characters. Write a thoughtful script.
The world always has to be ending because the threat has to be bigger! Audiences want bigger and faster and more things on screen and more, more, more! The only way the next movie can outdo the previous movie is by having bigger everything! That's what Hollywood producers think anyway. Heck, after Avengers: Infinity War, I'm surprised that everything having to be about the universe ending isn't a thing yet. lol

Yes. A lot of people don’t understand that good acting under bad direction is nearly impossible. His limited time outside of the Mando helmet has been some of the best subtle acting I’ve seen on TV recently.

This movie was terrible because Patty thought she had the smarts to actually write a sensible script, she cut the original writer, she cut Zack Snyder's special effects and stunt team, she cut off people who disagreed with her views, and thus, we got this hot pile of garbage

Watching the fight scene at the end was like watching the Cats movie fight and Oscar statue.

The explained why Barbara turned against Dianna. The wishing stone takes something for every wish, Dianna pointed out that Barbara seemed to have lost her "humanity," and I guess any sense of friendship or loyalty along with it. Now that I think about it, if you hold that up to the light, tilt it sideways, squint, and have recently suffered a traumatic brain injury, makes "sense" as the set up for Barb's ridiculous "Apex Predator" wish.

This is one of those movies that’s not even required to be “good”. It could’ve been an average/mediocre film and be “critically acclaimed”.

Barbara TECHNICALLY doesn't get a second wish. When Max is in the control room granting wishes and taking things from the people who are asking for them, he says something like: "I'll give her your strength and your rage" and points at Barbara. She gasps and the stupid wind machine turns on for a second. So instead of giving her another wish, he directs the wish retribution side effect at her, and stealing some random person's rage apparently also turns her into a cat because this movie is idiotic.
2020 was really trying to f with us, so much that they brought Cats from the Cats movie back

Well he's not a greedy businessman. He'd doing everything to make his son's life better, and wants his son to see him as a great man.
His motivations are entirely about being a good father. Even in the end he gives up everything he's gained all his power when he sees his sons in danger.

I thought it was weird when Steve took ownership of the other guy's body and neither him or Diana acknowledged that maybe the guy who that body belonged too is now basically dead and had his whole life hijacked by Diana's wish. They at least should have felt bad about it.
At the end of the movie Diana runs into him, even comments on his clothes, which was one of the outfits Steve had tried on. Leaving a possibility for them to get together.
Many consider it rape. But since it happened to a man, no one agrees. Even Jenkins laughed off several reviewers’ concerns.
What made it weird is because they heavily focused on the fact that Steve has possessed this man and instead of acknowledging the consequences of that , they just shrug it off after bringing attention to it.
He'll never know what she sacrificed.
The best thing about this movie is that everyone except the producers are making money by making contents about how failure this movie was.

you had me with everything except saying pedro can’t act. he’s a PHENOMENAL actor. he perfectly conveys what it’s like to be a character who struggles to convey any sort of emotion in mandalorian, and he CARRIED any good aspect of this movie.

I really liked Pedro in this movie, but I get why so many ppl thought he was bad, I think it was just too much for the film. This movie is supposed to be colorful and playful, but his acting was too serious. It’d be good in some drama movie, but definitely not this one 😂 Also, I like Gal as WW, but last monologue scene was so off.
I turned the video off after he said that Pedro can't act. haha his performance was over the top but that was thanks to the directing not his talent?

I was onboard with almost everything, except that Pedro didn’t KILL it in this movie. He was easily the best aspect of the film outside of Gal Gadot herself.
I heard the character was brutal in the comics.
Performances were fine overall, but the script was absolutely atrocious and gave very little for the characters to do, other than repeat the same character arcs/plotlines of the first film or just serve their respective roles as villains (Cheetah pretty much). Max Lord is more interesting and uniquely developed in comic books than what we got on film (telepathic and secret loyalist/financier for the Justice League with other incarnations making him either an anti-hero or villian). A generic, sleazy businessman from the 80's. That should tell you that the writers knew crap about the source material, at all.

He was the only sympathetic character in the film. Got his body stolen by a ghost and then was raped by a strange woman who couldn't get over her obsession with her dead boyfriend who was said ghost so she made a wish that caused her boyfriend's ghost to possess the man's body.
They should have ended it with her and Batman on a date in modern times
Half-way through I leant over to my wife and whispered..."when will this end." And for the first time in many, many years thought of leaving and having a coffee outside. It was terrible.

SPOILERS: How could they have messed this up? The first movie was headed in the right direction.. then BAMM!.. they come out with WW84!! Terrible storyline, horrendous music throughout the movie, the return of a past love in someone else's body (WTHeck?), and what was with Diana's ending monologue about everyone renouncing their wish.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? You can't get Americans to give up their hair appointments due to a pandemic, but you really believe that people in the 80s will renounce the million dollars they just wished for? And what about her "invisible jet"??.. Seriously, IS SOMEONE PRANKING ME??.. "And since I can make this plane invisible, why don't you fly it through those non-lethal bombs bursting in the sky!" And let's not forget about Asteria's "indestructible" gold suit that couldn't even protect Diana from an apex predator attack!!!
DC should really start watching some MARVEL movies, because other than some cool CG effects and great actors, WW84 sucks!

No... What you are doing its to apply realism to fantasy, accountability to a genre of stories that depend putting the world upside down over and over again and the non interference from other superheroes; which obviously would negate any further story telling.

When my nephew asked me to go see the original WW I did it for him because I was expecting to see a movie like what WW1984 is. Thankfully the first was amazing. To bad about the second.
I don't know what happened while I was watching the movie. I thought about all those inconsistencies when I saw them, but somehow my brain ignored them blatantly. I guess that's how it feels to have an acid trip.
