- Frostmourne is the newest WotLK private server realm by Whitemane. It launched just over a week ago now and this was me playing on it for the first time ever on a live stream. My thoughts so far and how the server was few days after its release. It left a really good impression!

hahaha i went through 5 dungs within like 15 min. couldnt even get halfway through those dungs before the group wiped. always someone doing something stupid.

i love the vibe, been playing on whitemane for a week now. the gms are really active, ticket gets responded within minutes, that gm nightmare guy helped me through alot of bugs. but sometimes its kinda weird with that many customs, hardcore feature, ascended raids, seeing undead paladins runnin around, racial switches, and the cash shop is kinda the same with warmane (i.e. u can buy gears, services, etc). idk why the population is kinda decreasing, it feels exaclty like warmane's Lordaeron population wise. bg que sometimes takes 10min , and AV is completely dead it just never pop up :/ .
so the server is gonna die soon?
@@ФилипСимић idk, but people I leveled with already went back to warmane's icecrown solely for AV.
But I guess it's kinda already dead considering it's stage of progression(naxx) with current daily players online (1-2k on weekdays, around 3k max at weekend)
Buying gold and paying for max level professions means the server is going to have a busted economy where everything is super expensive in game. This server is a big no for me.

Yeah unfortunately Whitemane is a toxic server i use to love it too. It's just take take advantage of people buying gold or off their store. It will probably die in a couple years when people catch on to it. Nothing new that some dev will make deals with gold sellers to take a cut of their money made.
I recently tried to go back to whitemane maelstorm now that they've merged it with deathwing, and it's a shame that now it only has 1300 peak players, I guess a big part of the reason, besides classic, is this realm.
Kinda over the old content after all these years. Holding out till Duskhaven !

I left my 5 pre-bis characters on Warmane and Came to Whitemane since it's Cross-Faction, Auto training and No pay to win

Too anyone looking to play this game. 80 battlegrounds is non existance. Arena practically non existance. Ninja looting is rampant and GM's don't do anything about it at all. Look at all the guild discords. They all have ban channels listing of people ninjaing. That's because GM's allow ninjaing. I've had several items straight up ninja. Groups will advertise in English but when you group and get on discord, lots will be speaking only another language. If you are American, this server is really not for you. Every pug sucks honestly. Good luck with HM Ulduar with those clowns. This game only has on average 1400 people ever playing. Less than 8 people in Arena. Over hour Q @ 80 for BG.
I haven’t played much but BGs were popping after maybe 10 minutes in Q or so, if you are a US player - most private servers aren’t a good choice, including this one, arenas are pretty much dead - some 4 teams in queue tops

Hello brother, how are you? take a look at the mythic server again, it was reopened with a reset and has a certain amount of players, it seems to be a good server and if it continues like this it will go far with this idea of being a "Legion Plus" bringing more recent wow expansion stuff .
I play Tauri for the blizz experience and I'm just waiting for the legion to arrive

@@MEYTRIX Nothing, it's still live they are just releasing a x1 fresh since they believe there is a demand for it.

I been playing their cataclysm server until a month ago when their numbers went down really bad , barely hitting 1.5k players at night right now and during my day 500 online , i tried their wotlk server but they throw the shop and items since day 2 , all the private servers have a shop and expensive as well , it's cheaper to play retail wow at this point , guess i will look for other games and stop playing wow , might check guild wars 2 , did you play guild wars 2 meytrix? opinion on that game if you did , i'm a pvp player .
I never played GW myself, but did you play on Whitemane after the realms merged too? I haven't been there since but that might have improved the population, I will have to check

i just found out that u need to use the client from whitemane itself so u can enchant the custom items, smh. if u're using other than their game client, u wont be able to enchant them lol. so yeah, u have to have 2 clients if u now have hd or other client. i have to switch to whitemane client everytime i want to enchant their custom items and switch back to hd client for better quality, kinda annoying tbh.
they have made many modifications to the game so the regular client won't suffice
so many Spanish, Portuguese speakers, Jaja's everywhere

@@gustaverso yes because they can't understand people telling them to not stand in the fire or explain mechanics. PUGs usually wind up disbanning, leaving people locked to a fail raid ID for the week

As a portuguese speaker, when I enter a "global" if sush thing exists beside blizzard, I tend to speaking english and join guild of portuguese speakers. Although we cannot obligate People not to interact in their Mother language Just to make other players more confortable.
@@gustaverso if they cannot communicate, then they tend to ruin the raid or party. Some non English speakers have even kicked people from a 5 man as they cannot talk to one another

I did when it was new, but there’s maybe 1k players online at peak now so I wouldn’t have a good time playing on it just for that reason 😞 I need more people to have fun in pvp, fast queues and so on

See, the issue is they added things that make this unenjoyable for me. If I want WotLK, I'll play a server that *is* WotLK. This is WotLK+, which I rather they would do for TBC. Because TBC is absolutely amazing, and deserves a '+'.
good that we have this WotLK+ option now too and many regular WotLK private servers still

I gave it a try my priest is max level full pvp geared but is a lack of pvp enthusiasm the world chat is 95 percent of dragon slayers and a 5 percent of warmane wannabe glads who asking for amazing partners and not dogs 😂😂😂 not a single pvp guild i hard pass.

not really, there is no PvP gear as far as I can see and that is the one giving you competitive advantage against other players, although the PvE pieces can help, it's still not as bad as if we had it all accessible...you could argue that the donors will be likelier to get a raid stop etc but then they might as well buy the entire set and not raid at all, controversial donate options, but still not nearly as bad as Warmane, yet
i played up to lvl 80 and all i can say its a pain in the a**.like every server with x3 x5 x10 xp rate - u fkin dont get gear. dungoens fkin desaster - and at lvl 80 ppl still have NO gear. Whitemane Frostmourne is D- Tier of Wotlk private Servers. No FUN AT ALL.
Which ones are S, A and B tier WotLK servers?

True. I play a disc priest. Lvling tru dungs. Cant speak for max lvl but atm 66... Most poeple in rdf do not understand a word of english. Needing on anything. Warlocks without hs,ss, no pets. Hunters without pets. Most of the time the tank is doing more than 55% of all dmg dealt. So u figure out how much mana reg one needs for 3 min per mob pack fights.... So yea, mostly first time playing wow players....
