How are those appartments with a loft? I heard people saying that during winter you can feel very cold as the loft if not heated, what was your experience?
Thanks for watching! I think the rent is very reasonable for my location. I'm going to order one more piece of furniture and then I'll do a furnished apartment tour where I'll talk about the price and cost of living.
Do you have any recommendations as to how i can find a studio or goshiwon in daegu i will attend uni in daegu and im stressing out because finding accommodation while not in korea is so hard😭
There are some house finding apps that people use like Dabang, Zigbang, Peter Pan, Hanbang, and Naver Budongsan. These are all in Korean so they may be a little tricky to use at first. I would definitely try using one of those apps to search the area near your university. The thing about Korean real estate is that it moves quickly. A lot of the time, people will look at a place and sign the contract in the same day. I think, because of that, it will be hard to find a place before you arrive in Korea. I'm not sure of your exact circumstances, but you may have to rent an airbnb for a few days after you arrive and then find a place to live.
Hi! Depending on the area you live in, you'll need to put down a deposit. My depost was 5 million Korean won, but I've seen them as low as 1 million and as high as 10 million. The amount of your deposit also influences your monthly rent. A larger deposit, typically means a lower monthly rent. In my area rent is roughly between 400-700 thousand won a month.
