    The view is EVERYTHING!!! Also I love the ivy and its tree house vibes for sure! I can't wait to see more!

      If I could reach the top of those walls I'd have ivy everywhere! (it's probably just as well that I can't)

    I love the set of drawers. To me, as a South African, the apartment seems very cramped, but its perfect for one young person. That view is great!!

    I am from Egypt our houses are so big... Bigger than that in Europe or USA even..
    But I want to move to korea so I am trying to watch alot of apartment videos 😂 thinking by that I will get used to it
    All my best wishes to you and happy for you getting this beautiful apartment you can have the sun all over the place..
    I am a little bit annoyed that bathrooms doesn't have windows!

    • @adrienneagain105
      @adrienneagain105  3 роки тому

      Thank you ^^ I watched so many apartment videos before coming here too. My very first apartment had a small window in the bathroom so it's not impossible to find. "Villa" style apartments are sometimes a bit bigger than this kind of high-rise "officetel" apartment that I have. They're usually a bit more old-fashioned but you can get a bit more space for your money if that's something you're worried about :)

      Blu-tack! There is one that just refuses to stick though and keeps falling down. Need to find something stronger for that lad.

    I have a question that you may or may not be able to answer. I'm going off to university soon and I'm worried about transporting my kpop merch across provinces. The even more concerning is years later when I'm guessing my collection is even larger than it is now, how am I going to bring everything with me when I'm (hopefully) moving to Korea. Do you have experience bringing kpop related albums internationally? And if yes, is there a way to guarantee no damage is done.

    • @adrienneagain105
      @adrienneagain105  3 роки тому +1

      Oh, I don't really know to be honest. I'm usually happy with the regular old postal service. The post in Korea is really good so I've never had any problem with it as long as the address was written correctly. If you were really worried, you could pay for tracking.

    Is it 70000 won after the housing allowance? Or do you only pay the 20000? Nice video '-'

    • @adrienneagain105
      @adrienneagain105  3 роки тому

      I just pay the 200,000 and then bills :)

      How much was the deposit? I am supposing that it's the higher rent and lower key money concept

    • @adrienneagain105
      @adrienneagain105  3 роки тому

      @@casadechris923 I put down 10 million key money. That seemed to be a pretty decent amount that gave me quite a few places to choose from. There are some places with lower key money but once you go below 10m, it does seem like the options start getting a bit thinner. Of course, if you can afford to go higher, then I've heard there are better deals to be had on the rent.

    Do hagwon's pay for you rent?

    • @adrienneagain105
      @adrienneagain105  3 роки тому

      They will usually either provide the apartment or offer a housing allowance that you can use for rent to find your own place. Housing allowances are typically 400,000 - 500,000krw per month. (If they offer less than that, I would be suspicious.) If you want to find your own place though, you need some savings for the housing deposit (key money) since hagwons rarely offer to cover that for you. Key money is quite high. For this apartment, my key money was 10 million won and that's not even considered a lot here. You do get it all back when you move out though.

    • @casadechris923
      @casadechris923 3 роки тому

      The wording for any company hiring a non Korean technically statea they just provide eiither housing or allowance. Issue with going the independent route is that u need to have a massive amount of money for a deposit they most fist time people don't have.
