G'day Mark, as someone that cant sleep in a hammock, like the chair idea so much more. I reckon it'd be a great fishing chair, but does mean you need to be in a wooded area. Cheers Duke.
True, trees are kind of important to this setup😅. Thanks for commenting Duke
I could never sleep overnight in a hammock, but a hammock chair would be awesome for an afternoon relax. Love the name Grand Trunk. You looked mighty comfortable in the picture that drew my attention to the video. Imagine being able to hang it by the water's edge for a fisherman. He's be so comfortable the fish might never get reeled in - lol.
Exactly. Thanks for commenting
I could see a few good naps being had in that rig for sure, thanks for demonstrating it Mark.
I almost did that day. Thanks for commenting Steve
Great video Mark, I have the Grand Trunk double hammock as well. I am going to look at that hammock chair because it takes up less space then my ultra light back packing chair. Cheers my friend

Thanks for another great review, Mark. You're not old, just a bushcrafter with additional years of experience! 😊 It's a great option for sitting and relaxing when you don't want to lie down and stretch out in a traditional hammock. Those are some interesting mods for your double hammock, a future video covering those would be great!
I will consider a video on my hammock for sure. Thanks for commenting
That looks like a very comfortable chair. I could definitely see you sitting in the chair with a cup of rampage coffee, contemplating how you’re going to cook those bacon wrapped sausages on your new stove…..😘✌️🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️
Sounds great! Thanks for commenting
Great Item For Us Up In Our Years ! Thanks For Your Demo On This, Mark ! ATB T God Bless

Looks very nice. If they only made one in OD green...
I agree. That is why my DIY is khaki, Thanks for commenting
I’ve become a huge fan of hammock camping. Started with one of those cheap ones you can find at Winners that I bought just to chill in. Then I got a slightly more expensive DD hammock with a bug net, and a water proof bottom so it can be used as a mini pup tent if there isn’t a convenient spot to hang. I think I may upgrade one day to one with a ridge line one day, just so it’s easier to get the right amount of slack in it.
So I love this idea, and the bulk is certainly less than a chair, but over $100?! I always try to buy local, or at least not Chinese, but at that price, for a piece of cloth and a rope, I’ll wait till they copy it.
I was thinking of taking one of my cheap Chinese hammocks and seeing if I could make one like it. If it works I will make a video. Thanks for commenting Jim
Now that’s a neat little hammock chair. For me, I can see that being pretty handy.
It’s $80 USD and they have a military discount, so I’ll definitely be looking at that.
Maybe do a review in several months to get any new thoughts on it?
Thanks for the video!
Could do that. Thanks for commenting
thanks! great video 👍
Glad you liked it!. Thanks for commenting
Good review Mark, thanks for sharing, God bless !
Thanks, you too!
Nice but since it's not really any smaller or lighter than my folding chair I'm gonna pass on it.
I will say it does look really comfy though. You could attach a piece of bug netting to the top and part way down the sides and just let the rest hang down for a bit of protection.
Yes, a bug net would be a nice addition. Thanks for commenting
Nice
Thanks

one huge downside with all of these wrap around style chair, your weight presses all your belt carried gear into your body when you sit in one.
Yes, for sure. Thanks for commenting
Sits too low. Would have to have tall companion to get straps up higher. I could not get UP out of that chair. ☹️
Part of the issue may have been my setup. Thanks for commenting
