Hey Brother. Just saw your vids come up. I also am in GJ. I am gettting into ADV and will have my 790 by spring if not sooner. I am very glad to have found ya vids as I was pretty much thinking about an actual channel myself for this as well. 100% disabled Vet here. Was Jeepin and such but thing change over time. I also just did the Colorado Trail(thru-hike) had seen some bikes out there and thought Man THAT would be the way. I ended my Hike 73 short due to Stress fracture but regardless. It inspired me and Hopefully one these days when I’m on the road we can “Get Coffee”. Former Harley rider here. Zero dirt experience. Excited. Take care ✌️😎

I’m based in GJ too, so we’ll definitely have to link up for that coffee sometime. I’ve got a lot of respect for your Colorado Trail thru-hike, and it’s inspiring to hear how it sparked your interest in adventure riding. I totally get it-things change over time, but that sense of adventure always stays with us. As a Harley rider myself, I know the feeling of starting from zero with dirt, but it’s such an exciting journey. I would highly recommend buying a trials bike to learn all the fundamentals. This will cascade to all the bikes you ride, it really is a game changer for bike control….
it is not that hard. I am starting it next week solo. JUST RIDE WITHIN YOUR MEANS. Have fun. As of now, you sound very unconfident. Change your mindset
