Music of the Heart is one of my favorite movies! Meryl is just magical in it and the fact that she learned to play the violin in only 6 weeks still amazes me. I played for 9 years and it really is f***ing hard, lol.
her family seems so close. you can tell they all really love her & support her. her daughters are crying because of her work and how beautiful the work she does is. it must be such a great respectful & loving family.
Love this movie, it truly leaves you thinking about yourself and your losses and things you don't always appreciate. Meryl Streep is a brilliant actor but I think this is one of her movies that won my heart hands down. Definitely a 10!

Yet right in front of me she'll be over-the-moon happy and hug a friend of mine when she came over to my place to see her. One True Thing makes me sob - we (my daughter & son) - used to be so close - now there's a gulf that wasn't my fault. An empty-nester, with no hubby & kids that barely speak to me. Oh the joy.

the violin is @%$^&*$ hard!!! haha. that makes me laugh out loud everytime!! shes like idk wat to say next!!! haha ooops! she let it slip! haha love her soo much!!!!
It owned up quite well to the book...even though most of the lines were directly copied, the writer and director weren't afraid to tell a different interpretation. And very dramatic. *****
