Please do not overdevelop the island and lose the natural beauty of the place. The main attraction is the nature and ocean... I personally don't want to visit a crowded island covered in modern buildings. You can see that in most Asian cities. Too many tourists will leave an ecological footprint. This is a plea for a sensible development plan that ensures that the natural environment is protected.
Since you made this comment all development projects that do not have an environmental impact assessment have been halted or taken down altogether, and regulations have become very, very strict. Looks like finally, they are doing it right :)
The Hainan Channel planning to visit hainan but will like to stay in eco friendly hotel. I hope they keep it as green as it looks . I am also tired of the skyscraper jungle 😕

Many parts of Hainan are still countryside, and people are moving from the countryside to the new build city centers. No people would want to travel there without marketing and the development of all these resorts.

my great great grandpa lives there, but then his wife move together with their two son to indonesia. he then got shot by the Japanese soldier when he was drunk. His home amd lands are still there. maybe someday i would be able to visit!
