- In this video I tried sock curls on my natural hair! This is another way you can achieve heatless curls with also achieving bomb results! Now there’s no excuse to be walking around not knowing what to do to your head because you don’t have anything to style it with! Just go in your drawer, take out your socks and get to styling honey! Let's be real ok black people hair is naturally curly yet it looks on your video you hair is either unatually straight hair to make it curly kinda pointless really
this is how black people create a different curl pattern, so it’s not pointless. Even you can still create a curl this way. You may not understand it but as you can see here is my results, thanks for watching!
In the black community this is similar to doing a rod set or bantu knot out
Let’s be real we all have different textures and if we want to do something to change our curl pattern then that is our business. My grandmother curled her hair growing up using socks and paper bags. I’ve tried paper bags and my curls came out popping. Loved your video. I was searching for us natural hair girls😊using the sock method. Can’t wait to try it!

I wore sock curlers in my hair every other night as a little girl. It worked best for my hair (Caucasian girl) when damp from shower.
Some mornings I’d need to dry it a bit before unrolling them with a hair dryer.

Although your hair does look pretty amazing, the socks are probably made of cotton and that would not be good for our hair, do you agree? Maybe if the socks were made of satin, then it would be less damaging to the hair.

Heatless curls in the title is kind of deceiving being you used a blow dryer.
It’s not deceiving, the word is optional. Air drying is just as effective

This seems like too much work. Plus it’s not even heatless because you have to blow dry it. A twist out has a better shine and definition and it’s heatless.
