Thanks for a great episode Tim and WatchBox! I have thinner wrists, but I like dive watches, so I’ve just got to ‘own it’ and wear watches that others might consider too large.
I am a huge Omega fan, but had no idea until 15:50 that Omega once dominated over Rolex. This historical type of information only appears on Tim's channel.
@@raysway1897 agreed. Because of the empty cases at the ADs, I have discovered other fantastic brands like H. Moser and several others to add to my collection.
Great show! I’d be far more interested in that SMP if they offered it in a standard “Professional” bracelet, in case-matching titanium, instead of that wire mesh bracelet or NATO strap. An equivalent, weathered blue version of that dial/bezel would be cool too. I like seeing RGM getting some love! RGM is a master guillochér who does it the old fashioned way - by hand on a rose engine. RGM has been custom hand enameling, enamel over guilloché, cloisonné, etc. their dials before this type of thing became more popular in more recent times. I might have to look at an RGM next.
Now that I look at it again the top looks engine turned, the bottom looks fluted 🤔 I’m sticking with fluted with a weird play of light making it look engine turned. Looks cool in a weird hybrid kind of way 😅
The No Time To Die Seamaster absolutely does not come in that box with the key, it comes in the watch roll which is completely empty other than the watch (no spring bar tool or NATO). The watch roll comes in a plain black cardboard box, you don't even get the walnut box like with regular Seamasters. There's a pouch in the roll for what I assume is a spring bar tool, but they don't give you one.
That's true. We have all the accessories for the watch photographed with it on our website (unless it sold). The live format can be a tough one with all the tasks the host is juggling. Best, Tim
Hi Tim, the NOD Omega does not come with a wooden box and key and certainly not with an additional straps and tools. It come only with a leather watch roll and a paper box.
I know he can't touch on them all, but a Breitling Superocean is a complete no-brainer for under $3k. My favorite diver I own, and there's are Rolex, Omega, Panerai, and UN pieces in the watchbox...
Great Show! Considering how Dive Watches dominate the landscape you could do the same format next week with a new set of Brands. I’d love to see one on moon phase options from major brands. Also thanks for sharing my wrist shot.
Thanks again for another amazing show, Tim! That RGM with the black MOP dial looks incredible…it’s too bad I have slim wrists. Glad to see my analog on your digital again, although I’m not actually from Germany- just my Lange and Das Reingold (put on by the Atlanta Opera at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas). Cheers!
@@the1916company What do you mean beyond the market? Too entry level? I'm not sure I even know the definition of a field watch? Maybe do a show that goes into the definition of a field watch, the ISO definition of a Dive Watch, and the definition of a pilot's watch (as best you see it). Then list your favorites at a few different price points for each, or however you think is best. Just an idea. The last few of shows have been great. Thank you.
I've mentioned it many times, so I suspected my audience didn't want to hear it again. I have many kind words to say about the Scubatec over on WatchBox Reviews. Best, Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews They'll learn to appreciate it! You just need to keep it on their radar so one day they'll spot that brand somewhere and check it out in person! Rolex CPO could reinforce the credibility of the Grey Market, but there are lots of Frankenstein Rolex out there causing lots of problems for people. Personally I just would not want the risk on such a purchase.
On some models, yes, on others, no. Getting a steel Daytona, Sub, or GMT at list price is still a ticket to free cash - just not as much as it was at this time last year. Best, Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews Hmmm maybe. Although on this particular model - absolutely no chance average Joe is making a profit. A trustworthy reseller yeah maybe, but there's no way Watchbox or DavidSW are paying our mate Joe over retail for a no date sub.
Yeah, that's the danger of a live show. I know where it is, but I'm managing six things at once during these live casts. I called a Porsche GT4 a "Boxster" at one point even though it's a Cayman (same platform), and I heard all about that one, too. Best, Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews Sorry Tim, I didn't mean to pick holes. Just as a Brit who grew up during 'The Troubles' it struck me. I very much appreciate what you do and greatly enjoyed the show. On the rare occasions I've been forced on camera, I go cross-eyed and forget everything, so kudos to you!
Where in the US, or anywhere, can you get a Submariner at RR in 18 months? In CO, unless you’ve already spent many tens of thousands you are not going to get one with any rate; won’t even take your name and number. At least they’re very up front about it so you know you aren’t worthy.
Hi Tim Omega service takes too long , I sent a Speedy to have seconds needle centered and almost three month and no news . Sincerely this is unacceptable , my first and last Omega.
Dr. Snake, I understand your disappointment with Omega. I would feel the same way when any brand lets me down with poor turnaround/service. I have five Omega watches in the family and can only say my experience has been positive. I would give Omega a second chance if there is another model that catches your eye.
@@dannysimenauer5745 Thanks for your recommendation, just recieved a call from the Boutique telling me they finally finished the service and should be on its way any time this week. The Boutique personal is very nice , but Omega is taking too much time . Regards Luis
@@dr.supersnake4627 FYI, I bought a Vacheron Constantin and the service took about 2 months. I do not think there are enough watchmakers to provide adequate service. It will be interesting to see what happens as Rolex rolls out its CPO program putting demand for watchmakers go higher.

Absolutely first-rate in every regard. Highly informative review of sub-10k divers. Thank you Tim, Sean, and WatchBox.
Thank you for this generous feedback!

I look forward to this show every week. Thank you for doing them!!!!
Thanks Tim. Always a pleasure listening to you
Tim. Thanks for bringing the show back. Keep them coming and I guarantee my viewing !!
Best content in the watch world! Thank you, Tim. Truly appreciate you and your team’s efforts. Unparalleled work.

Bloody fantastic! Thanks Tim and Shawn!
I start liking this show more and more, specialy with the unbiased true "credits where credits are due"...
Good to finally have a video outlining the 124060
Excellent content once again. How about dress watches for another show, but only on watch straps, no bracelets?
Longines Hydroconquest would be a great option.
Great show (as usual). This topic could easily be a 2 hour show.
Definitely but Tim’s girlfriend has dinner waiting for him😀
Have the 39.5mm PO ceramic and the NTTD, both awesome watches. Need that Blancpain now.
That black ceramic Seamaster Pro 300m is the star of the show. Perfection.
Excellent show !

It's a shame that the internet popularity of Rolex has made people think that Rolex has always been the greatest watch company ever...

Great episode, Tim 👏
Great show, per usual. Surprised to not see Sinn on the list! Off the wrist, off the list?
I just ran out of time. A U50 full teg would be a great addition to the list.

A Fifty Fathoms special episode is due this year... 😊

Tim, my good sir, that is in fact a fluted bezel at 15:12 on that lovely vintage DJ36

I took another look at the full-size photo Abdul sent, and I'm pretty sure it's a fluted white gold bezel.

Omega black ceramic is too large although the matte dial is way better than on the regular diver 300
How is seiko not mentioned?! SNR is up there with any dive watch

Tudor ruined the pelagos 39 with that terrible “lux” dial and the 42 is too big and thick for everyday use
