- Installation of a Silverline 5 inch stack kit on my Ford 100 Cummins 24V. Got the tips on ebay for under $40. Check out my blog trucksanonymous.blogspot.com
Wow, I cannot believe how much those stacks belong on that truck. They look like a factory option. Really nice, love it.
well thats a really cool truck. i like that you put the cummins in an old pickup, makes it even better!
That truck is awesome, what a great look with the stacks.
good job man!!! great looking truck and stacks!
Bubba you own my dream truck!!!
1965, whooo that goes wayy back...i like that body style tho buddy thats pretty sweet those stacks r beast as hell 2
thats a sick combo, mid 60's ferd body with the mother of all engines, the mighty cummins
Ive never been a ford guy.....but damn i love your truck man! 5 Stars!
hey man thats a beautiful truck you've got there, if my 12v wasn't already in awesome shape id definitely swap the same 65' f100 body lol
I love this truck😍 i want to buy it
Sweet old ford you did a sweet job on the ol girl
Beautiful truck man
i like to see this kind of work . I have one concern and i would do at least one thing differently and it is to flex mount your stacks to the bed you will be cracking and breaking the mounts often and the vibration will drive you crazy. i know this from experience. use at minimum rubber isolaters
cant beat Ford's look and cant go wrong with a Cummins
It's just that cool people have them.
Power to the Fummins owners! Everyone needs a Cummins under their hood!
Best way to collect water
That thing is sick! You done a great job with that truck and it sounds awesome! Love that classic body style!
That's a sweet truck!
Beautiful truck
sweetiest cummins diesel on the planet!
Andrew Easton... This body style ended un '66, the 67-72 body style is more rounded. Either would be awesome for a Cummins swap though. My brother has a 66 3/4 ton 4x4 with a turbocharged 6.9 Navistar diesel, its tough as hell
Awesome! I would love to do a project like this one day.
now just get a tool box on the back there ans hide the split :) beautiful truck btw
my cummins came with a stack already on it, but instead of changing the whole exhaust, it uses a 3" in 4" out muffler before the turn up to attached to stock exhaust
Nice old John Deere too!
Stacks redirect the dirty emissions the truck puts off into the air out of the way of other traffic, rather than straight into the road. Just because you cannot afford to drive diesel, let alone a truck doesn't mean you need to jump to conclusions! :)
yo man that ford looks really nice but I would have had stacks with a curv on the end so rain doesn't get into it
Get a tool box thats black and cut wholes in it and that will look great!
my dream is cummins in a chevy
Oh and I love the truck
Sickest cummins swap I've ever seen
badass truck
Nice truck
love this project. but id do a single stack. one manifold one stack.
0:46 The little kid is like, what the hell is my dad talking about!
lol the kid is playing with the bubble wrap.....classic
excuse me, but that is just fucking awesome. a mint ford and cummins. SO good!!!!
I want your truck....
I'll give you my 96 Bronco, lol.
Beautiful truck man lucky man
3:25 yes we do
i have the same ones on my truck
Im more of a hot rodder V8 kinda guy i could care a less about disel. But nice truck man!
sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was gonna say just come off each side since its a V, thats what im gonna do eventually. then i realised, its a straight 6.
looks good---
mine is cummins in a 99 hilux
an awesome truck and an awesome motor! you did a great job. how hard was it to put the motor into a different truck?
35 bucks? nice investment man
My buddy owns this truck now! its for sale!
But with how its split doesn't the right one smoke more than the left?
@avtrider44
12 inch stacks? might as well put a "diesel ricer" sticker across your back window. 7 is plenty big enough
nice looking truck, how much is that stack kit anyway? ive seen a decent amount of people using them
hows the drone in the cab? i had a terrible drone at about 80 kmh, had to make my own custom clamps and bed mounts with rubber to absorb the vibration!!
i fuckin love the rig man, wouldve put a powerstroke if i were you but at least its not a duramax, i respect cummins. i was wondering if you had to do any suspension mods to hold a diesel in a half ton truck, ive got a 73 f100 and i want to put a 7.3 IDI or maybe even turbo diesel powerstroke in it but im worried about the weight on my axels and springs.
What's the height on those bad boys? I'm looking to put to 5 flat tops on my pickup and that height looks slick.
not thats a truck bro..nice!!
Build the truck yourself? How long did it take? Did you use a Cummins frame and etc? I'm going to be building a 66 long bed 2wd and I'm going to do the cummins frame and etc., but I'm going to ratrod it and either slam it hard or bag it.
I am very interested in restoring a truck identical to this one (F100 65'-69') and will be putting in a Cummins 5.9L. Could you give me a ballpark estimate of how much this rig ran you to complete (conversion, exhaust, truck, paint, wheels, extras)? Any suggestions that you might have for a new guy getting into this diesel conversion thing? I appreciate it.
@steturne if you wanna sell the truck let me know... lol awesome truck by the way
are you planning to do a p-pump swap?
or are you content with the power limitations the vp44 has?
has anyone ever told you you sound similar to nicholas cage? lol. nice truck "nick" lmao.
@foxracing3750
how do you figure the NV4500 is junk? the only problem is the 5th gear nut like to come off but you can fix that problem. i know quite a few people running lots of power through a NV4500 with no problems. adapter plates are 7-800 bucks so I would look heavily into keeping the NV.
and even if you keep the ford ZF5 i would recommend using the dodge starter. talk to the guys at fordcummins.
That old of a truck would not have even had a powerstroke engine, the powerstroke engine came out in 1994. Like that one guy said dodge is a piece of shit that they put a cummins engine in.
Need to get in touch. What engine mounts do you use?
Did you do the swap? And how much did it cost? I really want to swap a 5.9 6speed 4x4 into my 68f100
this was to much pipe in the truck bed just need a 2 by 6 in tubing at the bottom of the bed and put your stacks on top of it
@gasflame62 hows a '65 and a '92 similar?
@gasflame62 my bad,
everyday driver?
@steturne if you want to sell that let me know!
good thing my comment isn't in the video.
is that a 4x4?
i see one mistake in this video..... your comment.
@gasflame62
just done the swap to a 94 F-150. 12 valve. if you want some info I can tell you pretty much anything you need to know. send me a message dude.
stacks are only $35? You gotta be joking or something? If it's that cheap I'm definitely putting some of those on my dodge cummins
edit: it makes a little sense now that the left stack wasn't bent all the way
WOW POWERSTROKE SUCKS THAT MUCH U HAVE TO PUT O CUMMINS IN IT
lol 50 bucks for balljoints, better than replacing head studs on powerjokes, and nasty piston slap on the gassers, coupled with enterior items that dont last to 100k and you have Ford's finest engineering to be proud of, I guess ball joints and a couple tie rods are hard to deal with for someone whos never held a wrench. Never heard of dashes cracking unless the idiots cleaned it with harsh chemicals though, again, just dumb owner problems.
I want to buy that truck I'll give you 25,000 for it!
you're going to clean every thing up and take her for a what? video cut off
@MrThisIsMeToo pwnd
youre 15 years old, where are you gonna get 25k?
Why is there à cummins in your ford
+Stone Bob Cummins is obviously the best!
+Dean Brotzman cummins is a ford engine...
+Ryan Vier no
+John Ciha Cummins is Cummins Turbo Technologies, it's not owned by Dodge or Ford
Do people really think Cummins is owned by ford or dodge? fucking stupid
your crazy! Dodge is know to fall apart. Ball joints and steering linkage is shit, clear coat doesnt last, and dashboard cracks and falls apart just to name a few problems
its a dodge, trapped in the body of a ford
@Goaliewester9 No its a cummins. A dodge is just the piece of shit they put the cummins into. What this guy did is every diesel lovers dream, drop a cummins in a ford!
@MrThisIsMeToo you are blocked....you probably drive a Honda or something.
Ha funny all these ford guys puttin cummins in their trucks. Shoulda just bought a dodge in the first place. Rather be Cummin than Strokin!!
Are fords even Cummins?
Nope they are either IDI or Powerstroke
+Brixcon that's what I thought.
dodge uses cummins, fords use powerstroke and chevys use duramax
😂😂😂😂😂 Gay cumapart junk
