I agree. Even though she was a villainess, there was definitely much more to her than that side of her persona. Donna Mills played the character perfectly! Abby was seductive and Donna’s beauty certainly leant itself to that aspect of Abby’s character.
Right. That's why she refused to do the original storyline about her being behind Val's babies being kidnapped. She knew there was a line even Abby wouldn't cross. And I agree. She was about the money but she was a Mama Bear first. And she remembered how torn up she was when her ex-husband Jeff snatched their kids.
@@fwdthinker I remember that episode. Didn't he leave her a message on her answering machine that he took the kids? I think it was the same episode where Sid drove off the cliff.
@@josebro352 Nope. Jeff snatched her kids while she was in bed with JR. Karen came to the hotel to warn her but she went off on her for meddling and overreacting. It wasn't until later that she realized Karen was right and Jeff had indeed snatched Brian and Olivia. Abby was a wreck for a minute. But after she pulled herself together she served him up Abby-Style.
Donna Mills is a tremendously underrated actress. She gave some nuanced, Emmy-worthy performances on this show, but KL was a soap so it didn’t get respect from the Emmy voters.

Can you post the scene from Abby's last season when Ted is warning Abby that Paige is going to find out that she's behind Murakame? Disgusted, Abby turns and says, "No she's not!",

Another scene that I'd love to see from near the end of Abby's final season, is when Ted came to her office just before she was to address the press about the Murakame situation. She showed him pictures that would implicate him in the death of the Asian actor that Abby had hired. She reminded him what the penalty for murder was like only Abby could.
Don't mess with Abby. She will always beat you.
