Ewing who was ruthless in business and with anyone who he disagreed with was the best villain of all time on television. Pam I think slapped more people than anyone else on the nighttime soaps! Abby Ewing was the best night-time soap villain. Abby wasn't cartoonish like Alexis Carrington, Abby was well-rounded. JR Ewing and Angela Channing were in a class by themselves.
Alexis was the most fabulous and the most cultured. period. But yes, Abby was a better villainess and much smarter than any other villain or villainess and the sexist.

Greg was always a step ahead of Abby! JR knew from the first minute he met Abby what she was after.. lol Blake was a weak character unlike the late great Jock Ewing. Angela Channing was the best female villainess on tv and of course JR Ewing will always be the greatest villain!
Notice that there’s only one true male villain here? JR Ewing second to none and was truly peerless. Greg Sumner and Richard Channing were very good but they were out of their league. Today, You can mention these two characters and some will remember them fondly BUT, mention JR Ewing, and almost everyone has heard of him. Now, Out of the Three Female Villains, The best has to be Angela Channing because Out of the three villainess characters, Angela Channing was portrayed by the legendary Oscar winning actress, Jane Wyman. Angela Channing’s wealth, power and influence wasn’t attained by marrying a man like Abby Ewing and Alexis Colby. Angela was a Gioberti and learned everything about Falcon Crest and the wine industry by her grandfather and her father. Even though the writers had Angela committing some very dubious acts i.e staging her brother’s death as an accident, dominating her daughter Julia, to the point of driving her insane causing her murder two people, and trading her baby “grandson” Joseph, for her 50% of Falcon Crest that she lost when nephew and Joseph’s real grandfather, Chase Gioberti, invoked the term of her father’s will. And that’s just to name a few, she also showed her humor and vulnerability at times which made her character redeemable.Alexis Colby was by far, the most popular and famous female Villain because she saved Dynasty, which was Then, a new and mediocre series When her character appeared at the last minute during Dynasty’s first season Cliffhanger. Alexis wasn’t a self made power house villain because she acquired wealth power and influence by Marrying her first two husbands. She is the sole reason why Dynasty became a blockbuster series. Now, we get to Abby Ewing, she started out as a regular character of Knots Landing but as each episode during her development, Abby schemed to gain wealth by slowly seducing Gary Ewing during his marriage to Valene Ewing. She manipulated Gary and schemed to gain the wealth that was connected with Gary’s eventual inheritance that he would receive from his late father, Oil Baron and Rancher, the late great Jock Ewing. Abby was amazing and she too showed humor and dubious acts i.e unknowingly involving herself, with Val and Gary Ewing’s twins, being stolen at birth while making Valene believe that they were still-born.. So while they were all great villainess’ I think Angela was the most devious but likable Female Villain..
Amanda Woodard from Melrose Place was one of the baddest bitches ever. I remember watching that show! JR Ewing was in a league of his own. Greg Sumnear and Richard Channing were very good villians but compared to JR, they couldn’t hold a candle to JR Ewing. Next when it comes to women villainess, I don’t believe it was just Angela Channing by herself. Alexis Carrington Colby, and Abby Cunningham were downright dangerous on their shows. All three women were beautiful, smart, dangerous women.
JR and Angela are my faves because you always know the answer to the question: What drives them? What do they want? With other villains, sometimes it's a head scratcher. They just want more money or more power or revenge. With Angela, she is driven by Falcon Crest. She wants Falcon Crest wineries to be the best and most powerful. For JR, it is Ewing Oil. And for both it is about their family legacy. What really drives Abby and Alexis?
There isn’t even a contest here. John Ross Ewing II was/is THE GREATEST VILLAIN IN TELEVISION HISTORY! He’s in deed in a league of his own and everyone from Alexis Carrington, Abby, and Granny come in at a distant default second.
I loved Abby, Anglea, and J.R. Evil at it's finest.

Greg was always a step ahead of Abby! JR knew from the first minute he met Abby what she was after.. lol Blake was a weak character unlike the late great Jock Ewing. Angela Channing was the best female villainess on tv and of course JR Ewing will always be the greatest villain!
Notice that there’s only one true male villain here? JR Ewing second to none and was truly peerless. Greg Sumner and Richard Channing were very good but they were out of their league. Today, You can mention these two characters and some will remember them fondly BUT, mention JR Ewing, and almost everyone has heard of him. Now, Out of the Three Female Villains, The best has to be Angela Channing because Out of the three villainess characters, Angela Channing was portrayed by the legendary Oscar winning actress, Jane Wyman. Angela Channing’s wealth, power and influence wasn’t attained by marrying a man like Abby Ewing and Alexis Colby. Angela was a Gioberti and learned everything about Falcon Crest and the wine industry by her grandfather and her father. Even though the writers had Angela committing some very dubious acts i.e staging her brother’s death as an accident, dominating her daughter Julia, to the point of driving her insane causing her murder two people, and trading her baby “grandson” Joseph, for her 50% of Falcon Crest that she lost when nephew and Joseph’s real grandfather, Chase Gioberti, invoked the term of her father’s will. And that’s just to name a few, she also showed her humor and vulnerability at times which made her character redeemable.Alexis Colby was by far, the most popular and famous female Villain because she saved Dynasty, which was Then, a new and mediocre series When her character appeared at the last minute during Dynasty’s first season Cliffhanger. Alexis wasn’t a self made power house villain because she acquired wealth power and influence by Marrying her first two husbands. She is the sole reason why Dynasty became a blockbuster series. Now, we get to Abby Ewing, she started out as a regular character of Knots Landing but as each episode during her development, Abby schemed to gain wealth by slowly seducing Gary Ewing during his marriage to Valene Ewing. She manipulated Gary and schemed to gain the wealth that was connected with Gary’s eventual inheritance that he would receive from his late father, Oil Baron and Rancher, the late great Jock Ewing. Abby was amazing and she too showed humor and dubious acts i.e unknowingly involving herself, with Val and Gary Ewing’s twins, being stolen at birth while making Valene believe that they were still-born.. So while they were all great villainess’ I think Angela was the most devious but likable Female Villain..
And don't forget Amanda Woodward from Melrose Place.
Amanda Woodard from Melrose Place was one of the baddest bitches ever. I remember watching that show! JR Ewing was in a league of his own. Greg Sumnear and Richard Channing were very good villians but compared to JR, they couldn’t hold a candle to JR Ewing. Next when it comes to women villainess, I don’t believe it was just Angela Channing by herself. Alexis Carrington Colby, and Abby Cunningham were downright dangerous on their shows. All three women were beautiful, smart, dangerous women.
JR and Angela are my faves because you always know the answer to the question: What drives them? What do they want? With other villains, sometimes it's a head scratcher. They just want more money or more power or revenge. With Angela, she is driven by Falcon Crest. She wants Falcon Crest wineries to be the best and most powerful. For JR, it is Ewing Oil. And for both it is about their family legacy. What really drives Abby and Alexis?

There isn’t even a contest here. John Ross Ewing II was/is THE GREATEST VILLAIN IN TELEVISION HISTORY! He’s in deed in a league of his own and everyone from Alexis Carrington, Abby, and Granny come in at a distant default second.
Dallas was horrible. Falcon Crest was dumb.
The first 3-4 seasons of Falcon Crest were amazing, the middle seasons reasonably good, the last 3 were a real disaster.
Seasons 3-8 of Dallas were excellent
I liked the miniseries of Dallas as well
Season 2 was okay a little bit but seasons 9-14 were horrible
The first 6 seasons of FC were fun.
