"It is an epic song that pays tribute to the Indo-European sky god known as Tyr in ancient Scandinavia. The song explores four divine aspects of Tyr and highlights themes of bravery, justice, order and balance. With powerful lyrics and a dynamic musical arrangement, "Tyrs Återkomst" captures the very essence of a great sky father revered across cultures and ages."

Hail Tyr..and Hail Odin...to all Norse Gods...
Is the same god in the primitive european tradition... Taranis, Tharapita, Tarḫunz, ...
The name of the god is Þórr in Old Norse, Þunor in Anglo-Saxon, Thunaer in Old Saxon, Thonar or Donar in Old Dutch and Old High German and þunraR in Protonordic.
All these forms derive from the Proto-Germanic *Þunraz. It has the same origin as the English word thunder thunder, as well as the German Donner, the Dutch donder, the Swedish tordön and the Danish and Norwegian torden. In turn, both descriptive and etymological interrelations can be found with the Greek mythological god Zeus, Ζεύς, from Ancient Greek, which coincides with Thor in general aspects. For example, both Zeus and Thor comprise deities of thunder, play a leading role and both correspond as the most revered gods in their respective mythologies. In ancient Greek the name of the god is Ζεύς, (Zeus), in the nominative case and Διός, (God), in the genitive. The Latin word deus itself - from which many other words derive such as dio (Italian), dieu (French), dios (Spanish), déu (Catalan), deus (Galician), etc. - coincides with Zeus and thus with Thor, although Zeus and deus derive from the Proto-Indo-European root *dyeu-/*dyu, and thunder, Thor and thunder from *(s)tenə. However, it must always be clear that the Greek Ζεύς and the Latin Iu-ppiter correspond, to the god *Tīwaz ← *deiwos, Old German form Zîo, Norse Týr and Anglo-Saxon Tíġ, Tíw.

Even though zeus is more oden than tyr
@@neuroleptika Oden?
@@korrali zeus is more similar to oden than he is tyr
@@neuroleptika thanks for clarifying you are in fact right

Amazing song Hail Tiwaz SKal 😎⚡⚡
So inclusive!
Tak i Nie
This sounds so Indian. I like it.
Fun fact : the first month of summer in Persian is called Tyr (تیر)
Why did they say zeus/jove though? Are the saying those gods are the same as tyr?
Yes, they are.
If you’re interested, read into the etymology of Tyr , all these gods are linguistically linked. ✌️
Same personality but different culture, he was from proto europe amd so the God in many traditions
Both names trace back to the prehistoric word "Dyews" meaning god. Which is why they say "Dyeus Pater" in the song. They both originate from our Indo European ancestors.
This is also why some might say that Tyr MAY have once been worshipped higher than Odin/Wodan/etc. Considering how vast the Germanic Pagan regional influence was some of our ancestors may have venerated Tyr more than Odin. Potentially though.
Greate song! I am quite impressed by the mention of the concept of the world tree as a harmonious combination of two principles, can I ask for the source pic, I couldn’t find it on my own?
Skal!
Ohh, denna gillar vi ✋🏼
Tyr was Zeus Pater, Dyaus Pitar, Iovus Pitar, Jove, jewish Jahve-Demiurge, the same as the judeo Christian Jahve who erased our forefathers. This became churchs Deus Pater.
The judeo patriarchal God archetype.
He was also Mithotyn ”the false mind” who erased the spiritual mind Odinn.
Except that a god song
I saw two large ravens visit me in my garden this morning ....
You and thousands of other people. Odin is not omni like the Abrahamic deity, he's a wanderer and can not be in 2 or more places at once. Yet everyone seems to think he's visiting them or sending messenger or spies lol. Ravens are a bird of death, so of you see actually ravens. That prob means there's road kill somewhere lol
Is the first text and spoken language, Proto-Indo-Iranian?
Gudarna själva skulle älskat denna sången
I feel terrible for our ancestors Christianity stole from us irish n viking I'm both n Scottish n Prussian n black Forest German n polish
get over it. Move on.
@@Sheepdog1314I did just saying but we fight back
No, don't " fight " back. RE WRITE history instead. Let our pagan blood reign firm, but with a new view on Midgard, and her ways.
@@Sheepdog1314the tyrannical religion of christians is dying. As for the old ways,, many say they are returning. I say the old ways never left. Ther are indeed some who never lost ther way and they guide the rest of us towards the true gods of our ancestors. Christians tried ther best to eliminate us but we continue to grow back like persistent weeds. The old gods will never die

Mongaloid????
Forseti with his axe in the west?
Edit: I wrote this during my first playthrough before it said his name lol
Hindi and persian but no baltic and slavic languages?
It’s referencing Dievas, the sky god from the baltics, isn’t it?
The other names and languages are referring to the line of indogermanic/-european linguistic links between them. Not sure if the Slavs had a (sky) god deriving from the same root?
@@wappenschmied Rod
@@forestboi9760 who is indeed a mighty godfather with similarities to Tyr, but is not connected to the Proto-Indo-European “deywós” (celestial one ≈ god) - same goes for his “replacement” Perun.
