And his group, The Jackson 5, was the hottest group in the world for 4 or 5 years. Each brother had a talent all his own. Just think, Jermaine and Tito actually played their instruments on tour. You simply do not see that today in the pop realm.

You are correct! It was Gladys Knight who discovered them at a talent show and arranged for Berry to see them. As you know Diana was Berry's special project (sleeping with)so she was the chosen spokesperson. She was also the person responsible for the break-up of the Supremes!

Also , Jermaine's Gibson SG bass tells you it's from around 1970. He switched to Fender Jazz basses for their 1971 tours onwards. Sorry to sound geeky !
