Im Video wurde ein falscher Dichtring (Gummi) für die Ölablassschraube verwendet, bitte Kupfer Dichtring verwenden!
In the video I've used a wrong sealing ring (rubber), please use a copper seal for the oil drain plug!
Hier mal eine Anleitung um einen Service an den Suzuki Außenbordmotoren DF15 und DF20A durchzuführen.
Die verwendeten Teile haben folgende Teilenummern:
Ölfilter: 16510-45H10-000 O-Ring: 09280-54001 2. O-Ring: 09280-13004
Benzinfilter: 15410-87L00
Als Motoröl habe ich 10W40 (1,1l) verwendet, wie von Suzuki empfohlen.
Getriebeöl ca. 250 ml der Sorte SAE90 mit GL5 Klassifizierung.

Yes thank you. I just put one on my sailboat for the run Florida to New York and dealers either want it removed from the boat or the boat out of the water to do it. Neither a good option so video really helpful.

When doing an oil and filter change. Remove the lower cover before you drain it. That way no oil gets inside the cover and the wipe down is easier. The pin on the cover latch is not necessary to remove as it is on one side cover not between. These engines have no tolerance for over filling the engine oil. Just under full is better.

Under fill is also not an option, but with the manufacturer's information, I never had problems in the years.
There have been a few reports of case seals blowing out. It is believed that the engine was over filled by a little. There are those that claim that there is a notable power increase with less than full oil. Perhaps less oil windage.

I can’t tell you how much compression they have. But you need to fill in 1,5L of 10W40 engine oil.

Den Impellerwechsel und auch den Zahnriemenwechsel wollte ich vor der nächsten Saison machen und dann auch ein Video dazu erstellen.

How big is the inflatable boat? And is the boat still fast with 4 people on it? Are you going at least 10 mph? Thx
It is an Zodiac Cadet Rib 340, means 3,4m.
With 4 people on the right spots it goes like 35-40 km/h that should be 21-24 mph. For us it is fast enough.
Könnten Sie mir bitte einen Tipp geben, wo ich diesen Adapter für die Getriebeölflasche besorgen kann?
Hallo, mittlerweile mache ich das etwas anders. Es gibt schöne Getriebeölpumpen für Außenbordmotoren, diese werden einfach auf die Flasche geschraubt und es klappt noch besser.

Der „Adpater“ im Video war soweit ich weiß eine Kanüle von einer Silikonkartusche.

I just changed the oil filter in my 20 hp Suzuki. When I started to re-install the lower cover, I noted that the pink tube and the black tube that go from the Compact Fuel Cooler in front of the oil filter were not connected to anything. Should these tubes be free, or where should they be re-connected? I did not remove them from any connection voluntarily. Thanks.

Ich habe das Öl aus dem Suzuki DF15 nach etwa 10 Stunden abgelassen. Ich ließ es in der Flasche und nach ein paar Tagen bildete sich aus dem Öl am Boden ein weißer Niederschlag, viel davon. Was könnte es sein und welche Ursache könnte es sein? Neuer Motor, erst 10 Stunden alt
Ich sehe auch, dass bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten aus dieser Düse in der Nähe der Kühlwasserdüse weißer Rauch austritt
Hallo, eine Ferndiagnose ist hierbei immer schwierig. Konnte man diesen Niederschlag auch schon während des ablassen feststellen?
Im Zweifelsfall würde ich empfehlen, bei einem so neuen Motor, einen Suzuki Marine Vertragshändler zu kontaktieren. Vermutlich hat Ihr Motor ja auch noch Garantie.

Hast du die Teilenummern für die Kupfer-Dichtringe?
Hallo, der Kupferdichtring Ölablassschraube hat die Artikelnummer 09168-12017, die Getriebeölablass-, und auffüllschraube haben folgende Artikelnummer: 59178-97J00
Die Suzuki Nummern kann man sehr gut, für sein Modell, hier recherchieren:

Ganz lehrreich, aber mit solchen Bauarbeiter-Arbeitshandschuh am Motor schrauben, dass gehr ja gar nicht. Mein Meister in der Werkstatt (Deutz gelernt) hätte mir dafür was auf die Finger gehauen.
Carsten Wille Danke für Ihren Kommentar, es gibt dafür besser geeignete Handschuhe das stimmt ;) Sie können sich ja gerne einmal ein aktuelleres Video anschauen, dort werden auch etwas feinfühligere Handschuhe verwendet.
