As a pure vegetarian my self i think its a good move by zomato. Many people want thier food to be pure and not contaminated. This has nothing to do with caste and religion as people in my caste and my relatives eat meat but i dont. And it's their choice. Being veg is a choice and not based on caste nor religion.
MOST PEOPLE DON'T REALIZE THE FACT THAT TBE DISTRIBUTION OF VEGETARIANS IN INDIA IS OVERWHELMINGLY ALONG CASTE LINES. SO, IT'LL AUTOMATICALLY ATTRACT DISCRIMINATION BY UPPER CASTES TOWARDS NON-GREEN DELIVERY PACKAGES. THAT'S THE REASON ZOMATO HAS LEARNT ITS LESSON AND HAS STOPPED THIS RIDICULOUS CASTEIST MOVE.
Brilliant - very interesting to see the rise of deeptech startups in India. Also very curious to see how autonomous vehicles tech is going to play out in India. Fine to use others hardware if you don't call it indigenous in house. India has a bad rap for making false claims.
