Dude why the hell do people dislike Relapse? I’m convinced that most Eminem fans just wanted him to stay on a certain path and when he went the strange route he did on Relapse a certain group of fans including me absolutely loved it and consider it one of his best works and the rest couldn’t understand it. In my opinion it’s his best and last great album. It’s the most cohesive and story telling album he has using a serial k!ller to depict drug addiction.
Recovery, Kamikaze, MTBMB, Bad Meets Evil the Sequel with Royce da 5-9 and and TDOSS are my favourite all time albums. There are tons of tracks on all previous albums that are all time greats. IMO, m sober Em’s rapping ability, flows, metaphors and deliveries have never been better. Especially while aging. Anyone’s favourite rapper is not even close ☝🏽
S: Eminem Show MMLP Death of Slim Shady Recovery A: SSLP MBMB Side B Kamikaze B: MBMB MMLP2 C: Encore Revival Relapse Infinite that was hard they are all incredible.
I hate when people say they dont like his new shit, i think crypt has got a good grip on how good his new music. Definitely not his best, but definitely still good! To generalize all of his new music into bad is mind boggling and makes me think just follow the trend on hating him.
Imagine making an album so good that it got played everywhere so people downplay it and say it's too commercial. That's Recovery! Eminem made a flawless album where he was firing on all cylinders, and it was too perfect, so people made up reasons to hate it.
I agree with this list completely, I also agree on the take of TDOSS… I’m not a fan of road rage head honcho or tobey .. I also think taking them out would have made the story make more sense
1. marshal mathers lp 2 2. the eminem show 3. relapse 4. the desth of slim shady 5. music to be murdered by 6. encore 7. marshal mathers lp 8. slim shady lp 9. revival 10. infinite 11. recovery 12. kamikaze all S
I think the songs after guilty conscience 2 are mainly great 😭 ems verse on head honcho is very underrated, then bad one was good, and ofc somebody save me and temporary? I feel like the ending of the album was incredible and I would have doss in low s, high a range
Kamikaze and Recovery over Encore is a crime. Mockingbird clears both of those albums. SSLP not being with the other S albums is unholy. DOSS should be an A tier, clearing Recovery and even MMLP2. Relapse I get being the most highly discussed in regards to where the entire fanbase fights over it. But still respect the opinion.
Mtbmb Side A is definitely A tier for me. I put Encore as C tier. If he had the bonus tracks on the main album and eliminated 3 songs like Puke, my first single , and evil deeds I would have put it in B tier
I actually agree with your list and we are probably one of a few that have beautiful as Eminem's best song... you literally described how i feel about brainless 😂
Agree with this pretty much, except DOSS has to be A-tier. That run from Evil to Fuel is as good as anything run of songs you'll find. Agree about the back half losing steam but kinda disagree about your opinion on Tobey. The song itself is an absolute banger, it just feels really shoehorned into the album. DOSS is a minimum A tier
I'd have the New one up a tier but cool list. First I've heard say Ez Mil and Head Honcho weren't worthy of the album but I only skip 2 songs. Temporary and Save Me are just depressing, I joke both those songs were set up for Fans to catch shots.
9:50 trouble already uses the Guilty Conscious 2 beat so I think it works better as an interlude Kyrie and Luca off the bonus track should have been on the full version, it even has the de aged slim shady voice at parts. But fully agree that Road Rage sucks
Relapse is absolutely an A tier Album. Death of slim shady should've also been A tier. I'd actually put Recovery at the top of B tier personally. Good album but like you said it felt a little mainstream. Road Rage is a good song but I don't care for the chorus. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they mixed it. The rest of the song is cool but I hate the ZOOM ZOOM ZOOOOOOM crap
When Crypt said "I think Criminal is on MMLP" lol. C'mon man Criminal is one of the best Em songs of all time. I'd name that song before Stan or Real Slim Shady anyday especially since the radio/music videos overplayed both those songs to where I never want to hear em again
Bro ur trippin HARRRRDDD on this one Side B of MTBMB is literally a PERFECT Album which belongs in S. Encore is even WORSE than Revival and belongs in D 💀💀💀
Music to be murdered by side and revival are my two least favorite eminem albums, I think Mtbmb had wayyy too many features and I hate how the title and the presented theme are barely in the actual music itself, making it just disappointing from that aspect. I like side b a lot more overall, but I'd still group it with side a as one album. Personally, there is not a remote chance I'd rank mtbmb above Relapse. Other than that, I think every other album has its absolute golden moments that make up for whatever skips it has.
I became a fan of eminem after hearing the chloraseptic remix and I still love that song so much, as well as kamikaze as that was my first REAL listen to eminem. I grew up listening to rock/metal/indie religiously and nothing else until i was about 15 🤦♂️😂 I despised recovery when it came out as a lot of my friends liked eminem and listened to the album on repeat, and even now as a fan I don't listen to that album because I never liked much of the songs on it. There are a few good songs, pretty much the ones crypt mentioned (apart from not afraid, I physically hate that song) but putting that above TDOSS is just madness, in my opinion that would be lower than D tier for "not alone" by its self 😂

MMLP, TES, Relapse and TDOSS are my top 4, in no particular order. TDOSS might even break into my top 3, but only time will tell.
Finally I find someone with the same top 3! but I feel like us rating TDOSS so high is recency bias.
I think I know why you don’t like road rage.
S-mmlp, the Eminem show, recovery
A-encore, kamikaze , TDOSS
B-Relapse, mmlp2, sslp
C- Mtbmb side a and b
D- revival, infinite
Relapse in D tier is a disservice to that album. At worst a B tier album but I’d have it in A
Same
Putting Relapse at C tier is criminal, that should be A or S tier.
S:
Eminem Show
MMLP
Death of Slim Shady
Recovery
A:
SSLP
MBMB Side B
Kamikaze
B:
MBMB
MMLP2
C:
Encore
Revival
Relapse
Infinite
that was hard they are all incredible.
Did you like bad meets evil? I love that album, if you wanna call it an album, where would you put it on your tier?
I hate when people say they dont like his new shit, i think crypt has got a good grip on how good his new music. Definitely not his best, but definitely still good! To generalize all of his new music into bad is mind boggling and makes me think just follow the trend on hating him.
Beautiful always been my favorite I’ve listened to that song 100’s of times
Imo:
S tier: TES, MMLP, SSLP
A tier: Relapse, MTBMB(side a +b)
B tier: Recovery, DoSS, Kamikaze
C tier: Encore
D tier: MMLP2
Z tier: Revival
S: TES, MMLP, Kamikaze
A: MMLP2, MTBMB-A,
B: Relapse, MTBMB-B, Revival
C:SSLP, Encore, Recovery
D: Infinite
Relapse is his best most creative album cant change my mind
How do you not like road rage, it's the fat jokes isn't it
I'd love to relive the feeling of listening to the recovery cd and realising there was a 17th song untitled and my God that's a fire song 🔥
Imagine making an album so good that it got played everywhere so people downplay it and say it's too commercial. That's Recovery! Eminem made a flawless album where he was firing on all cylinders, and it was too perfect, so people made up reasons to hate it.
eminem's production on revival is the same as his production on death of slim shady - I would personally put death of slim shady in C
My list:
S: TES, MMLP, Recovery, TDOSS
A: MTBMB Side A, SSLP
B: Relapse, Encore, Kamikaze, MTBMB Side B, MMLP2
C: Revival, Infinite
D: None
When i hear the Evil chorus on DOSS, I think of Brainless from MMLP2
In my opinion (without infinite)
S: mmlp,sslp,tes
A:relapse,mmlp2
B:encore,recovery,tdoss,kamikaze
C:mtbmb
F:revival
I agree with this list completely, I also agree on the take of TDOSS… I’m not a fan of road rage head honcho or tobey .. I also think taking them out would have made the story make more sense
1. marshal mathers lp 2
2. the eminem show
3. relapse
4. the desth of slim shady
5. music to be murdered by
6. encore
7. marshal mathers lp
8. slim shady lp
9. revival
10. infinite
11. recovery
12. kamikaze
all S
I always find it crazy that till I collapse came before lose yourself
Fuel alone puts this album at A-Tier!
I agree remove 4-5 songs and this could have been S-tier but solid A for me personally!
I'm 29, $75,000 biweekly and I'm retired. I'm not boasting but something about this video reminded me of my past!!!💔
Ok you finally started appreciating mmlp2, I'm glad you now think it's his 4th best album
Honestly hated road rage at first but the more I listen to it the more I like it lol
S: MMLP TES
A: Recovery
B: SSLP MMLP2 Encore Relapse
C: Death of Slim Revival Kamikaze
D: Music to be murdered by
I take that back, TDOSS is in my top 3. Actually, today I started my day of listening to TES and turned it off 3 songs in, and switched to TDOSS.
Trouble is a full song, guilty conscience 2 is the full song of trouble, same beat but its when eminem sobers up from the meds he takes in trouble
Decent list. Though, I would’ve put “Death of Slim Shady” in A tier at least.
You're the only Reaction video I watch lol, Great content brother
DOSS is a minimum A tier
love the title, I'm weirdly obsessed with em rn
I'd have the New one up a tier but cool list. First I've heard say Ez Mil and Head Honcho weren't worthy of the album but I only skip 2 songs. Temporary and Save Me are just depressing, I joke both those songs were set up for Fans to catch shots.
"Tonite" was a bop on infinite ngl.
Crypt loves EM and NF.
ayee caught this video early, love these type of tier list videos man hope you keep making more and more
love and positivity always
9:50 trouble already uses the Guilty Conscious 2 beat so I think it works better as an interlude
Kyrie and Luca off the bonus track should have been on the full version, it even has the de aged slim shady voice at parts.
Didn't mention Rock Bottom on SSLP as one of the bangers is kinda crime :D
When Crypt said "I think Criminal is on MMLP" lol. C'mon man Criminal is one of the best Em songs of all time. I'd name that song before Stan or Real Slim Shady anyday especially since the radio/music videos overplayed both those songs to where I never want to hear em again
IMO:
S Tier: SSLP, MMLP, TES
A Tier: Relapse
B Tier: TDOSS, Encore, Infinite
C Tier: Recovery, MMLP2
D Tier: Kamakazi, MTBMB
F Tier: Revival
Bro ur trippin HARRRRDDD on this one
Side B of MTBMB is literally a PERFECT Album which belongs in S.
Encore is even WORSE than Revival and belongs in D
💀💀💀
One thing youll notice going through comments is.... Everyone loves relapse.
I wonder when crypt is going to make another album
Nice list. Relapse could be higher but am not mad.
The hate for Tobey is mental. Such a fire track
