You should do the best and worst of tech n9ne
I would have raged if you didn't say higher.
I was about to comment “you should’ve had curtain call!” And then realized the worst would’ve just been FACK and the best is either When I’m Gone or something featured previously.
Rock Bottom & If I Had on SSLP are criminally underrated
rock bottom is his best song, for me at least
Rock bottom I feel is perfectly rated it’s not that good though, if I had I don’t like
brain damage
Role model
@@Vampbl0ckswtf
On God I feel Bad Guy on MMLP2 is the most underrated song on the album. It goes so hard and the story telling is absolutely phenomenal.
Yo that last verse
the last verse goes so damn hard
Seconded
better writing and storytelling than stan, only thing it lacks is the dido iconic chorus.
Yeah I agree. I don't fault Crypt for choosing Rap God, but Bad Guy has to be one of Em's most underrated bangers. The entire final introspection bit goes so hard
Kamikaze is underrated
Honestly yeah a lot of stinkers but a lot of really good songs too
Agreed
The pure pissed off spazzing mojo of Kamikaze is great
Fr
So underrated I bounce back and forth with it being my favorite album by him
Relapse is one of Em’s best projects and I love hello 😭
relapse is great from a technical standpoint, but in terms of any real meaning or substance, it's terrible excluding beautiful, i can't listen to 10 songs about killing women, but i get how it's appealing if you're young and yet to grow
@@anomaly3215 I am young. I don’t think a song needs substance to be good personally. It’s engaging, entertaining, funny, dark, and like you said the rapping is great on a technical level.
The production was good and I personally like a few songs on it, but I can't stand the accents personally. Although I do love Baghpipes from Baghdad
@@anomaly3215 its creativity that should be appreciated, horrorcore is fucking fire.
@@zu3834 ain't a listener? Hahah bro if I wasn't a listener how would I know the accents are there? I am an Em fan I love Em, if anything I defend him against all the BS that gets said about him. It's just a taste thing and like I said bar Baghpipes from Baghdad, I don't like it. It suited the album but I wasn't a fan, even Em has said he doesn't like most of those songs now looking back.
You know, little engine is actually my favorite on MTBMB. The bars and double entendres are incredible imo
Agreed! That and “Marsh”.
Plus he genuinely tries to sound like an engine ramping up on the chorus and even on the verses, a chainsaw or motorcycle for example, if you focus only on the notes and entirely zone out the lyrics, try replacing every syllable with the same one like 'dun' and it's a pretty nice song overall.
Space bound and Mockingbird are my 2 favorites from Eminem, and it’ll be sad to see them replaced if he drops more albums like MTBMB!!
He ain't dropping like he did from 1999-04 my guy, he just ain't he's different now
exactly. MTBMB is freaking amazing.
My favorite song of all time from him is The Ringer he disses everyone and his flow is perfect
Mine too.
same fall with good flows too
Same and including Not Alike
Man I really love Brain Damage from the SSLP and Stay Wide Awake from Relapse. Cold Wind Blows clears all of Recovery. MMLP2 Evil Twin takes it for me. Not Alike from Kamikaze, Marsh on side A, and These Demons take side B. Respect for saying Beautiful is his best track overall.
Cold Wind Blows is one of my All time favorite songs
@@dopekidrepublic Em just goes off. Such a great track
Those are some great choices. Especially Brain damage and Cold wind Blows.
rock bottom or my fault from the sslp.
stay wide awake or buffalo bill(its from the refill😢) on relapse.
talkin 2 myself or not afraid on recovery.
bad guy or headlights on mmlp2.
bad husband or castle on revival.
I will or no regrets on mtbmb.
from sslp also rock bottom is an very top tier track from em catalogue
i love cold wind blows but em verse from no love is also fire af top tier tbf, talking to myself also is very close to my heart
stay wide awake is crazy in terms if rhyme schemes but beautiful also hits some is an top tier song from em tho,
evil twin also bad guy from mmlp2 are very very good,,from kamikaze not alike goes insane it starts and just goes off ,the ringer also em wants all the smoke
side a has a lot of good songs marsh first verse insane the rhyme schemes etc but from side B i love these demons but book of rhymes is close to the ringer imo these 2 are the best songs from em beard era em just wanting all the smoke, these demons start with facts how em says people wamnt him angry, old mature etc and they hate whatever he does he can t please everybody
Revival has grown on me over the years, but Castle and Arose are by far the best.
I almost distance those two songs from the rest of the album. I love those two songs so much.
@@seanA416 the album is vulnerable and more emotional, and variety is what artistry is about, since life itself has variety, nothing wrong with a more emotional and mature album
@@anomaly3215 oh no I still like the album but the combo songs Castle and Arose are two of my favorite Eminem songs because of how I realte to them.
I think bad husband is up there with them
“Offended” and “Framed” are wild.
PICKING YOU'RE NEVER OVER AS THE WORST SONG IS A FUCKING CRIME
Shuda been wtp
it is i crime that you didn't even so much as mention "Going Through Changes", for Recovery. and "Bad Guy" for MMLP2
Bad Guy is so underrated
i can’t overlook Alfred’s Theme as one of my favourite eminem songs of all. It’s been my top played spotify song (by a mile) since MTBMB Side B came out.
The word play mixed with the beat and flow switches - never a skip for me.
That song is basically everything i love about eminem wrapped up into a 5 and a half minute masterpiece
Thank you! Finally someone else who agrees! His flow and wordplay is insane on that song
The signing on ‘you’re never over’ gets so much attention. But the second verse on that song is perfect lyricism. It starts brash and brazen, as if he can carry on like before. But in the second half it’s like he finally admits the grief. The delivery is so powerful that you don’t realise how vulnerable the lyrics are:
“You gave me a reason to fight, I was on my way to see you
You told me "Naw, Doody you're not!" Laying on that table, I knew
I was gonna make it, soon as you said "Think of Hailie", I knew
There wasn't no way that I was ever gonna leave them babies, and Proof
Not many are lucky enough to have a guardian angel like you
Lord I'm so thankful, please don't think that I don't feel grateful, I do
Just grant me the strength that I need, for one more day to get through
So homie this is your song, I dedicate this to you”
This song is a top 10 Eminem song and underrated asf
These are important to me as an Artist, love you Crypt 🖤🖤
Not doing Relapse: Refill and MMLP2 Deluxe is kind of an L ngl
I definitely expected Alfred's theme tbh.
Also the most underrated song on revival is bad husband imo
Eminem - Believe from revival was incredible and my choice for best done on that album 👌🏻
walk on water was a masterpiece tbh, very heartfelt song and it's welcoming to hear him be more mature, you can't be a angry 26 year old forever yk, need to grow up eventually
You couldn't have dropped this at a better time Crypt.
Cheers man!
Edit: Agreed on quite a few best, and worst.
Not Hello though, I love that track.
Would love to see a video of u ranking ur own music in a tier list crypt
Yo Crypt you pretty much nailed that one with your picks 👍🏾
Stronger than I was will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. That song single handedly got me through some shit. Damn.
Same here
wish this would get more attention man. love the series.
I would definitely argue that Going Through Changes is the best song on Recovery
good shout such an underrated song
Yeah, I think it is! Literally everyone who can relate to the depression finds this songs extremely special
Nice video as always. Cheers from Germany
Not Afraid is the best on recovery. Hands down for me, but I also thought for everyone and not to be mentioned has my head swirling
Yeah maybe because it's overplayed. But I also thought literally everyone had it in their Top 10 if not Top 5 or Top 3
@@morcjul maybe, the meaning behind it is what I think is slept on
easily the best, weird people try to push the narrative that its corny cause they’re losers tbh
@@Lore-gt5rh it’s sad.
THIS ONE WAS THE ONE IVE BEEN WAITING FOR
Crypt what’s your opinion on not afraid? Not even get mentioned? Or did I miss it
Love the video concept.
Wish you did snippets of the songs.
Also, hard disagree on choices for Slim Shady LP.
Hey crypt. I enjoy seeing your stuff and I think you'd enjoy hearing Dan bulls rap with hompohnes instead of rhymes and I think it would be a cool challenge to see if you could produce a regular rap song with homophones
Nah, "Role Model" and "Rock Bottom" completely beat "My Name Is".
But huge W for choosing "Till I Collapse", the best song from TES.
Ranking ems features would be a dope video
Yellow Brick Road was my favorite off of Encore
🔥 song. Underrated
To me "till i collapse" is the best eminem song ever, its just a banger!
I like these videos, you should do logic next!
best songs (opinion):
slim shady lp: role model and my name is
mmlp: drug ballad
the eminem show: without me and 'till i collapse
encore: like toy soldiers
relapse: deja vu and old time's sake
recovery: no love
mmlp2: headlights
revival: walk on water
kamikaze: fall/not alike/the ringer
mtbmb: you gon' learn
side b: higher/zeus
I think we all knew that No Love, Rap God & Godzilla were going to be in your favourites. I'm also glad you picked Mockingbird, that and Like Toy Soldiers are in my Top 10 Favourite Eminem songs and definitely my 2 favourites on Encore. Till I Collapse is definitely my favourite on The Eminem Show too. I also knew Castle & Arose were going to come up when it comes to Revival. The album still hasn't grown on me, but like you've said with MMLP2 dropping in your senior year of college (I was starting high school) it's one of those albums that I can vividly remember where I was in life when it dropped. They definitely are my two favourites on Revival along with a few others, and honestly probably 2 of the greatest songs he's ever written period. I've always said that it's a shame those songs were on that album as if they weren't, I think they would have got a lot more attention. Also with Kamikaze I definitely agree, for me my favourites are Lucky You and Not Alike. Fall and Kamikaze are great too. Another Em album that means a lot to me, and honestly I think is fairly under-rated these days. I didn't get to go to the Australian tour Em did for it, which to date is the last time he came here and I'm still sad about it ngl.
I'd pick "If I Had" over "My Name Is" and "Bad Guy" over "Rap God" but your choices are very reasonable. Great selection!
Bad Guy is so underrated. Same with My Darling and Say Goodbye to Hollywood
Is it possible for you to play a small clip of the chorus to help the audience remember the song, or does that get copywrited?
Would you do DMX best and worst? That would be dope.
I see the sound proofing is off the wall, are you moving crypt or remodeling!?
can you also do a top eminem guest verses too there’s do many dope ones i wonder what you’d pick!! your list is almost the same as what i would have but im surprised you dont like you’re never over i LOVE that song yeah the singing isnt the best but the verses give me the absolute chills, and for MRBMB side a my favorites are You Gon Learn and Darkness godzilla prolly 3rd or 4th for me and side B my favorite song is definitely Zeus i do love your picks tho!!
Crypt: At the end of the day-
My yt add: BK have it your way
This ad timing wildly
My list - best / worst:
SSLP - Rock Bottom / Cum on Everybody
MMLP - The Way I am / Amityville
TES - Sing for the Moment / Say What You Say
Encore - Mockingbird / My 1st Single
Relapse - Deja Vu / Medicine Ball
Recovery - Going Through Changes / Almost Famous
MMLP2 - Bad Guy / So Far
Revival - Castle/Arose / Need Me
Kamikaze - The Ringer / Nice Guy
MTBMB - I Will / Those Kinda Nights
Side B - Book of Rhymes / Black Magic
Say what you say⁉️My first single⁉️⁉️ Medicine Ball ⁉️⁉️⁉️ going through changes⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️so far⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️
You should definitely do thie with Hopsin and Tech
Pt 2 of this video with Soul Intent, Devil's Night, D12 World, and Hell: The Sequel?
On mmlp2 I think the best song is bad guy that last verse is his best verse he has ever done
Bro My name is? The only correct answers are Still Don't Give A Fuck, and Role Model, and also Hello is a banger
Facts bruh
Just Don’t Give a Fuck is WAAAYY better than SDGAF imo
@@Satire_Filmz Nah you trippin' like the icon tho
It would be awesome if crypt would do one of these for tech n9ne and see how difficult it would be to pick á favourite song from each album
Marshall Mathers is my favorite song from MMLP
Me too!
Me too
You should def do another video like this on Tech N9ne or even yourself, I think that'd be interesting seeing what you see as best/worst on your own albums
Would love this. I’m fairly new to Tech N9ne (though I know he’s been around a while) but I’ve loved almost everything I’ve heard of his so far. Would be great to hear Crypt’s take.
he’s enjoying his channel uploads again
Lol @Crypt I loved that you used "best" and showed survival and then worst recovery
Love Game is one my personal favorites off MMLP2 and i could argue as the best song off that album, Em and Kendrick delivering crazy lyricism, production is insane, Kendrick delivers a nice hook, Em delivers a crazy flow. All around a great song
The Mushroom Song holds a special place in my heart.
I love Revival. Not that it's necessarily the best one of all or anything, but some songs on there are so good man.
I agree! I actually prefer it to anything he did before it. Though, I don’t like it as much as “Kamikaze” or “Music to be Murdered By”. Everyone seems to disagree with me on this, but I say that new Em is better.
@@verbosejuice9031 W take.
@@verbosejuice9031 agreed
wait ayo i get percs if i join the membership?👀
Remember Me was good though and that transition to I’m Back is so fucking COLD
One of the best of his entire career. Always have to listen to those 2 back to back because of the transition alone
I would like to see your list on tech 9
n9na is such a good album imo, doesn't get mentioned enough
What’s up crypt!
Please do a video of this on Kendrick and Outkast.
Remember me is one of my favorite Em tracks lol. I love the features. MMLP is my favorite
Now, this is a tough question for me. Neat choices tho, Crypt.
I will say I think Little Engine is underatted
And, Leaving Heaven is Peak Eminem.
As you were going through these, I kept being like “get out of my head” cause you listed all my favorite songs on the album. And worst are spot on too.
I GOT A MILLION REASONS OF THE TOP OF MY HEAD THAT I CAN THINK OF, PUKE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES. LOVED THE VIDEO @CRYPT
We absolutely need a best and worst song on every Tech N9ne album
He should do the same kendrick, cole, JPEGMAFIA, J.I.D, Denzel curry, Joey badass, MF DOOM, and so many more
He had like 25 albums no exaggeration! Lol. I’d be here for so long.
25 albums in counting 😂
I have been a hip hop head since 1973. Still to this day, I have my absolute favorites. As far as voice and lyrical craziness, Em is one of them. Still today, I can't wait to hear what he cones up with at 51.
Bro said no love is better than NOT AFRAID
My List: Cause I know everyone cares about my opinion lol
Infinte: Best - It's Okay. Worst - Maxime
SSLP: Best - Guilty Conscience Worst - C*m on Everybody
MMLP: Best - B*tch Please II Worst - Kim
TES: Best - Say Goodbye Hollywood Worst - Business
Encore: Best: One Shot 2 Shot Worst - My 1st Single
Relapse: Best - Deja Vu Worst - Medicine Ball
Recovery: Best - Going Through Changes Worst - Won't Back Down
MMLP2: Best - Evil Twin Worst - Stronger Than I Was
Revival: Best - Remind Me Worst - In Your Head
Kamikaze: Best - The Ringer Worst - Nice Guy
MTBMB Side A: Best - You Got' Learn Worst - Never Love Again
MTBMB Side B: Best - Book Of Rhymes Worst - Tone Deaf
Just my opinion :)
Drips and puke are actually soooooo good
I LOVE Puke.....Mosh is flamezzzzzz; Mockingbird is amazing also; Till I collapse my fave Em song period. Funny to hear different opinions on some of these tracks....fun video......didn't agree with any of your picks, outside of Till I Collapse
Good choices I don’t totally disagree but it’s definitely hard to do the best song and worst song on recovery because recovery is just a return to form. I think Godzilla is the best song on music to be murdered by and it’s on the level of rap god in my personal opinion or it’s pretty darn close. I think bad guy is one of my favorite songs from the MLP two
Cinderella man is my top 5 songs from Eminem. The lyrics and the emotion and raw and anger. Castle and A rose are the best heart hitting songs all the sounds in A rose made it feel like you was next to him as he layed in the hospital bed.
I do agree with most of your takes actually, or can at least see your perspective on most of them that I don't. While obviously "My Name Is" is the most I iconic song of its time, I'm also a huge fan of "Rock Bottom". I do actually have to say "Big Weenie" is my least favorite of Encore. While that whole middle stretch was a little rough, that song particularly was just awful to me. MMLP 2 I would argue that while "Rap God" is more commercialized, I feel like "Evil Twin" goes harder. I also enjoy the energy behind "Survival" and really relate and use "Legacy" for mood music.
zeus from MTBMB Side B is my fav from that album. White Gold's hook is phenomenal
What happend to the 8 mile album?
infinite: Never listened to it but knew about it
The Slim Shady LP: Role Model
The Marshall Mathers LP: Kill You
The Eminem Show: Buisness
Encore: Mockingbird
Relapse: Crack A Bottle
Recovery: Cinderella Man (I saw it in concert at comerica Park)
Marshall Mathers LP 2: Brainless
Revival: Believe
Kamikaze: Fall
Music To Be Murdered By: Farewell
Music To Be Murdered By Side B: These Demons
Do one of these for Hopsin
Ngl on Kamikaze it has to be Not Alike. The beat switches, disses, flow, speed and bars are INSANE
I don't know how you have Stronger Than I Was and Farewell as the worst songs of those albums! Both are very near my favourites. Stronger Than I Was helped me some tough times after a breakup. Farewell I see as being a song that you can hear in three different ways and it makes it so amazing for me and it sounds so good and bouncy. For me, the whole song is a triple with him talking about a woman, talking about drug usage and talking about the rap game
Farewell is amazing. How you could pick it as worst is beyond me but hey I love crypt and to each is own I suppose. But feel ya
bro there is no fucking possible way I would be able to pick a top 20 - I would probably go crazy
One of those kind of nights is a fun track. Also superman is one of my favorites.
I love farewell, its just a hype, love song
MAN how is stay wide awake not your favorite on Relapse!? The cadence and rhyme schemes are INSANE.
Can you do this for Chris Webby?
So not afraid and love the way you lie doesnt exist in recovery
4:18 It's funny i was gonna make a post or story about how Eminem didn't get radio play a lot, but got tv and film play. And Big Weenie got played during a CSI episode when one of the CSI's had to take samples of different hotdogs (weenies) for a case.😂
But Puke is kinda one of favorite songs off this album.
I'm sorry but Untouchable is a masterpiece and Revival has some of Eminem's best works, i'm not talking about the entire album but a handful of tracks on the album are absolutely incredible, i'm talking about rhymes, flow, metaphors, not about if does it sound good, can i dance to it, will i get chicks playing this in my car shit.
And Sing for the moment is one of the best songs ever put together.
What i love about little engine is that he tries to sound like an engine ramping up on the chorus and even on the verses, a chainsaw or motorcycle for example, if you focus only on the notes and entirely zone out the lyrics, try replacing every syllable with the same one like 'dun' and it's a pretty nice song overall.
Anyway, Eminem is the only artist i know of at least that has albums with troll tracks made specifically to get a reaction out of you such like "rain man"
Realizing how old some of these albums really are compared to how old I think they are make me sad…
Ik u don't rlly make vods on him but can u do a juice wrld one
Won't back down ft. Pink, also featured in Black ops 1 zombies.
k the reason why eminem made drips was to put out awareness for people who have a spouse who cheats. he's basically telling a story about his wife sleeping around while he's away on tour, and she brings him a disease and he catches it. hes saying be careful because you can contract it easily and make sure you don't get cheated on
Bagpipes from Baghdad is probably my favourite song right now
incredibly hot take Revival is not as bad as the media showed
Yes it is
I remember is in my top 5 mmlp songs every verse is so good
You should do this for NF, Lecrae, Andy Mineo, and Canon
I agree with every one except 2… for me my personal favorite song on the MMLP2 is survival… my favorite from side B is Zeus with White Gold
Not afraid has the best for recovery?
Ngl, remember me is my favorite song just because idk. I know it's not technically the best but I love that song for some odd reason. Also shoutout to Amityville
